| Okay, some comments: Templar Mikael: I don't know what the Dread is going to do, honestly. In my 1000pt battles, he tends to act a fire support, marching forward and then smashing into CC. As for not a lot of Anti-tank. Unless I am mistaken, I think this army has a decent bit of anti-tank. I have: 1 Pred. 2. Dread (not amazing, but assault cannon and S10 in CC) 3. 2 Squads with Powerfists That is 1 GOOD anti-tank unit, and 3 decent anti-tank units. Depeding on the force, I might try to squeeze in another Powerfist and get more Meltas... but I think this army is good as it is. Erus: Okay, snipers would be good, but as it is, I have 4 bolter scouts and 1 HB... so I only need 1 more scout to complete this squad. I do agree that snipers make scout a lot better, but, I think with this army, a little fire base of scouts is nice. The Dread and a drop pod has two problems: I don't really want to make a drop pod, and I don't really have the points in this army... I could possibly squeeze it in, but I had a hard enough time adding everything that I already have in this list. Oh, and I do have a Termie Chaplain, btw. The assault squad should probbaly have a Flamer or two... if I can fit in the point, I see about that. Thanks for reminding me. As for the Pred. a while ago, someone explained to me the usefulness of this apperently useless model: Lascannons count as primary weapons, meaning if I want to fire more than one, I must not move, if I don't move, I can fire 2 (or something like that). However, HBs are secondary weapons, meaning I can fire them even if I move. The turret weapon is Twin-linked... that, combined with the SUPER high S and GREAT SM BS means I should be able to score a penatrating hit EVERY turn, or wound a MC every turn. The HBs are good against most non-vehicles (not great against MCs, but with 6 shoots...), so that means that even after I have killed all of my enemies tanks I have a tank that can shoot enemy squads and destroy them with ease. Thanks for the comments!

Blog Entries: 1 | you can fire all three lascannons if you stand still, thats the true advantage of that set up: Massive anti-tank Power If you move 6" then only one cannon and all defensive weapons (meaning HBs) I'd still recommend choosing all lascannons or HBs/Autocannon set ups but w/e you want On a side note, If you want a fire base Snipers are better IMO: 12" more range Pinning Hits on +2 wounds on +4 The only disadvantage of snipers is you can't move and fire but you said you don't need them to move much...pinning has save my @s* many a times ![]()

| i think what they are talking about anti tank is to not put all your eggs in one basket if your tank and dread get knocked early you will have to get into cc with a vehicle to kill them i think of cc with a vehicle is a last resort why dont you spread a ML or 2 around they are good anti tank and they can also do fire support dont get me wrong i like the list i think its better for hordes though and you are at a severe speed disadvantage if you are gonna slog across the board on foot you need something besides your armor/anti armor to draw fire maybe you should trade in your terms for rhinos so you will close in faster

Blog Entries: 1 | One more point; the Dreadnought. If you can find something to drop somewhere else, you might consider giving it a missile launcher, and/or a twin linked lascannon if he gets tank duty. |

| That might not be a bad idea Mikeel... but he's already assembled and everything... (Like I said, first model I bought!) R4wr89, thanks for the comments! It seems that you don't have much to say to me... Romulas... once again, thanks for the comments. I will say that speed is a problem, and, if I lose my dread and pred I am in a bit of a pinch... but really, I think this army would do worst against a heavy armor army, like say, Tau or IG... which I'm pretty sure I won't be facing. Still its good to know.

| Okay, I'm going to take what you guys have said in mind, and edit the list a bit... nothing major, just a few bits and pieces of wargear hear and there... possible changing up some stuff. If I can find the points, getting some rhinos...
