| I like it. Love the troop basis for the army I don't see that much with marines. I take it that the land raider is for this squad 9 marines w/ CC,BP, 1 plasma gun-160. I personally love your SoB allies. Your going to get yelled at for not having even numbers in your squad. *Random thought* Be awsome if the make Codex Imperium with options for to creat lists that include all branches of the imperial forces.

| The Dark Apostle ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | my list before-- -HQ- chaplain w/ jump pack-120 -Elites- Dreadnaught w/lascannon, missle launcher-135 -Troops- 4 scouts, veteran sarge-78 5 sniper scouts-90 9 marines w/ CC,BP, 1 plasma gun-160 9 marines w/ bolters, 1 heavy bolter- 155 9 marines w/ bolters, 1 heavy bolter- 155 -Fast Attack- 10 assault marines-220 land speeder tornado-80 -Heavy Support- Devestators #1-sarge, 2 rocket launcers, 1 heavy bolter, 1 lascannon-165 vindicator-120 total--1478 i decided to drop the LS tornado because it was pretty much useless. if it was out in the open, it was dead. too fragile. when i tried to hang it back and speed out to capture objectives, it still was shot down. the vindicator also, wasnt doing much. with only a 24 inch range on its gun, it was usually killed before it could do any good. the devestator squad was just made up of heavy weapons left over from what wasnt in the squads. its kinda mismatched but was still effective against infantry and light vehicles. i wanted one that would have defined objectives of what to blast. i forgot to list the traits, but they are- take the fight to them, cleanse and purify drawback-eye to eye.

| I personally think it's always best to stick with one or the other- that way you can more effectively choose what targets they want to go for. Thunder hammers against gaurdsmen, for instance, are overkill, but lightning claws are pretty good. But Thunder Hammers kill vehicles and Carnifexs well, whereas lightning claws don't stand a chance. So if you stick with one type of weapon you can better define what their battlefield roll will be.

| The Dark Apostle ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | but if i have 3 TH and 7 LC, theres enough attacks for infantry, but, on a charge, there are 9 thunder hammer attacks. plenty to take down a walker or wounded fex. even a whole fex. they will be pointed at the enemies big points stuff, as they themselves are a 400 pt squad. iw as actually thinking, instead of teleporting them, to stick them in the land raider. if i port them, then they will have to withstand a round of shooting before assaulting, and EVERTHING will shoot at them.
