************************************************** *

Conversions:

Warboss and Retinue: (credit to D_C for warboss inspiration)
I sculp a GS head for the Warboss with a vacant look on his face, tongue hanging out, slack jaw, ect.
and a big metal slb on his head as if its been cut open and a devious looking grot on his shoulders with a whip
Same idea for the nobz just less work.
The Doks and Meks would be enslaved by those 6 grot orderlies (you know chains and whips)

Grot Mobz:
The Slavers would be in shackles and a grot with a whip would be around them

Warbuggies:
Driven by grots with grots crawling all over them

Big Gunz:
The Extra Grot is the one in charge. So a grot model pointing will do him. The Mekboy will be chained to his Kustom Force field with a glum look on his face.
************************************************** **

Now this is an army with character. Just need plastic grotz not

What do you guys think?

Do they have a gold daemon in malta?

I think you'd win. Your a great modeler. A couple of grots with mean looks and whips and a glum ork thats down on his luck

painting contests is one thing we dont have here, but maltese miniature painters are ranked in the top 3 of the world at most fine-scale modelling contests in europe.

anyway. ill remember that list, its really cool, and has given me loads of ideas!

I have to admit, I didn't think you'd do it. It's a really cool list and lots of modeling potential! Maybe you could start with 500 popints and slooooooooooowly work agead. I'd love to see this done!

thing that bugs me most about this list is that there are only about 15-20 grot models to choose from (if you want to keep them looking the same style)

of course theres the obligatory 2nd edition ammo grots and medic grots that i love but still, thats not many models to choose from.

still, more room for converting i guess?

what about using gnoblars as grots + guns? would that work?

A good way to get around the lack of grot minis is to use the goblins form WHFB and put the ork arms with shootas on them it looks cool as it was done by some one in a WD

I'm not jokeing the arms and shootas from the ork boys were on them, it made them look more beefy
