Default Lord Hurolf's Great Hunt

An 1850 13th Company Space Wolves Army List. A buddy of mine has nearly won a games day tournament with a list like this. Its based around the squads of elites that are able to take down the toughest opponents on their own with the 2 meltas in each of the grey slayer squads. The Rune Priest will us the Gate to get the Power Weapon Varangi Squad into close combat as well as to snipe at vehicles with his combi melta. The Wolf Lord is given the bike so as to speed around the battle lending a heavy str 5 I5 armour negating attack that always hits on a 3+. The Sons of Russ will be the Rune Priests next squad teleporter. They will get behind enemy lines and go for the hq. The Grey Slayer Squads are designed around self reliance. With the frags and kraks and 2 melta guns they can assault units in cover, they can target vehicles and high armour save units like termies. Of course the long fangs are there for the highly valuable long range weaponry. They have 4 Missile Launchers due to their usefullness against both hard and soft targets.

This is designed as a medium tourny list meaning only 3 games a tourney against largly space marine enemies.

Are you sure you need Krak grenades all they could really be used for is when your tank shocked and want to hit him back but really those two meltas should do the job and the freed up points from taking krak grenades away from both squads gie you 2 more marines that you could beef up the long fangs with so one round of shooting doesn't kill some of your invaluable missile launchers

They have to have them. its automatically added into their points. These wolves are nothing but elite soldiers. Each of them an equal of a 1st company veteran. They are all equipped to take on any situation.

No matter what they come equipped with them, its in the points
