Default New List 1503, no traits

HQ

Master – Powerweapon, bolt pistol, combat shield, terminator honors, frag grenade – 117 Points

Command Squad x 10 – CCWs & BPs, frag grenades, vet. Sarge w/ powerfist, apothecary – 215 Points

*Simple, this is the only pure assault unit in my army. Mainly, these guys are actually counter assault, as I hope for them to attack the enemy AFTER they have engaged me.

Total HQ – 332 Points

Elites

Dreadnought – Assault Cannon, Stormbolter, Extra Armor – 110 Points

*The assault cannon is for the Hive Tyrant, though he gets armor saves, the rending can help with that a little. Also, S10 means I can kill Hormagaunts in combat with ease... beware the broodlord and all things rending.

Total Elites – 110

Troops

Tactical Squad x 10 – Bolters, Missile Launcher, Plasma Gun, Vet. Sarge w/ powerfist – 185 Points

Tactical Squad x 10 – Bolters, Missile Launcher, Plasma Gun, Vet. Sarge w/ powerfist – 185 Points

*Not that happy about these squads, in fact, I'm not sure about them that much, I suppose the plasma gun/missile launcher combo those has its advatanges, mainly, being able to take down MCs. The powerfists are in there because they make sure I can take down any naughty ICs/MCs.

Tactical Squad x 6 – Bolters, Heavy Bolter – 95 Points

*Cheap fire support squad that just fit into the list.

Scout Squad x 6 – Snipers, Missile Launcher – 118 Points


Total Troops – 631 Points

Fast Attack

Landspeeder Tornado – Assault Cannon, Heavy Bolter – 80 Points

*Annoying speed thing that will hopefully fly circles around the enemy, shooting at all those nasty MCs/ICs


Heavy Support

Predator Annihilator – Twin-linked Lascannon, Heavy Bolter Sponsons – 135 Points

*I'm still not to sure about my Heavy Support, mabye I should make this guy a destructor, but, I still want to think that the lascannon will be good against MCs, but I don't know.

Devastator Squad x 10 – Bolters, Heavy Bolters x 4 – 210

*I got the heavy bolters, mainly, because I think, for the enemy that I'm playing at least, they're better than MLs. The Sheer amount of fire power this squad have means I can hopefully kill those MCs if I need to, but mainly, its for those annoyed Genestealers with extended Carapace.

**Oh, do you guys think that It might be a good idea to replace bits a pieces of this list with a LRC?

Total Heavy Support - 345

Total Points - 1480


Okay, after much grunting, groaning, and aching pain, I finally got this list written up today. I don't like it, mainly because it means I'll be spending more money than I want (/cry). As I don't have a lot this this army, and what I do have isn't being used (assault marines... sadly, these buggers aren't as useful as I thought, at least without a Jump Chaplain). Notes on the various squads are above.

Landspeeder Tornado, against nids a solid choice, mine never fails to surpise (deep striking) a nid player that suddenly has 7 shots at the rear of their line, take more if you can


Predator Annihilator, good choice with the HBs against hoard armies.
