Here is my 1500pt Read Corsairs army list. Tell me what you think.

170-Huron Blackheart

177-5 Thousand Sons w/ Sorcerer & Bolt of Change (Hurons Bodyguard)

150-8 Red Corsairs w/ Boltguns, ccw, Icon of Chaos Glory. Champion with
Power Weapon, bolt pistol.
55-Rhino w/ Havoc Launcher, Dozer Blade

Well i think you should change Autocannon to Reapear Autocannon to save any confusion. Apart from that, I like it. Only thing i would say is that you have No fast attack which means your relying on the CSM's to make it to the other side in a tank. Which normally gets shot at a lot. I would say lose a unit of havocs perhaps and take some Bikers/Raptors. And if you are taking out one unit of havocs maybe make the other one more specialized to taking out tanks as the rest of the army is quite capable of taking out infantry.

Or if you do keep both Havoc squads perhaps specialize each one anyway. Have one uber anti-tank one and another tooled up to get out a lot of shots vs Infantry

is this 6 in total or 5 including the sorc? either way you would be better with 8 and don't put Blackheart here as he is combat orientated, and they are definately not! put him with the Corsairs.

good - but get a power fist on the champ and take daemonic possession in place of the havoc launcher.

ditch the autocannon and consider melta guns instead - plasma kills, and not just the enemy - this is an expensive unit to lose to friendly fire!

125-Dreadnought w/ Plasmacannon, Heavy Flamer, Extra Armor

a defiler with 2 close combat arms would be better not least because of the dreadnought drawbacks, slightly less fluffy though.

210-6 Havocs w/ 2 Lascannons, 2 Autocannons, 2 Boltguns

best off having one unit with lascannons one with autocannons because you have dual roles here which is counter productive

getting there, good to see you reconsidered mech. your list will be ok as it is if you want to keep it, but i think if you considered a few of these revisions, they would work out better

I have been thinking about what to do with Huron. I have been thinking of sticking him with some Thousand sons (5 total) or maybe some Khorne Bezerkers.

I can upgrade the Champions to powerfist, but the havoc launchers gotta stay. I like the weapon way too much, it my version of a chaos Razorback.

The Havocs are gonna stay, I have played them as mixed roles and as single minded units, I like the mixed roles they work better for me.

As for the defiler, I have never used one before. I think they would be a good model with fleet and the battle cannon, but are they any good? Not to mention the fact that they are HUGE!

I dont like your heavy weapon choices in your Havoc Squads

Missile Launchers, 4 of them are a lot better.

Cheaper too! and they serve a multi role which Im sure you are trying to get by having an autocannon and a lascannon... but why?

Cause Autocannons are just awesome! I think they are a highly under rated weapon, and outside of the guard no one can field them. Anyone can field a missile launcher, but only a few the awesomeness called the autocannon.

I tend to put things in my list's that i like and not best for my army.But i play for fun so i say keep rockin the Autocannons vish.
