well, for transport issues you can still throw an assault squad without jump packs into a drop pod or slap them into a land raider! not quite as much of an 'all your eggs in one basket' pts sink as say putting terminators into the raider

i would take vet. squad, and then take a small tac squad. more squads is always good if you have spare points to use. just another shing for the enemy to shoot at, and another thing to capture objectives with!
