The edge and hammer of the Imperium:

Understanding the endless amounts of warhammer fan sites and communities around, in order to start a new one, the site needs an edge, something that makes it stand out from the rest. But what? We are going to take this at a whole different level compared to other WH40k sites. We are as you can see still in the early stages of our site, and just recently put together a group last month.

Our plan is big, and our funding is enough to pull it off. It isn't easy, but we will work to reach the goals. Our new twist is that we will try to combine all WH40k related things into one site, and also add some never before seen features. You have the basics: Homesite/Forums/Gallery/Blog

:The 40kTerra Network: This will be one of our new takes, we will be contacting local shops around the world, not GW shops, but other retail stores. With this network, we can run SITE-WIDE events/campaigns and what not, through these local shops who want to participate. We are planning to offer them 'free' advertisement in sense on their location, for running our events, and also drives more people to be aware of local shops around. Then inside the forums, we will establish a specific section for this network, so that local players can find a community within their range to game.

:Articles & Reviews : Our site will be using an easy to use article submission and display system that will show articles by fellow members.

We hope to write up articles for Tactics, Hobby-wise, new models will get in depth look at just to show everybody what the contents are in the upcoming material, previews, and a like all the good stuff, and hopefully we are going to try to create and collaborate the largest database of WH40k information

To fuel our articles, we will strongly encourage writing, we will have a writing team. (We are debating to have these people write on commission or some sort of incentive?) And also have member-based articles.

:Warhammer TV: Video Production: This is our wildest idea; we do not exactly know what this would ever be about, mostly leaning on something funny for wh40k. I have found something suitable to the website that will allow youtube videos to run off our site, and it is actually easy to host videos to download on site.

:The Warhouse: Bits & Retail GW store: The Warhouse will be one of our strong partners who will provide us GW related materials at discounted pricing. Check up for further news and promotions by them as we grow our site.

:Auction/Trade dedicated site: Our version of Ebay or trading: This will utilize a user-friendly auction 'ebay' style website/system for members to either sell, trade or buy goods from one another.

you know what id love to do: a sprue assessment. every so often i ll buy the biggest plastic releases and critique the sprues, giving detailed lists of whats on them, the quality of the moulds and sculpts, converting potetntial etc. i pretty much do that anyway - itll just be a case of posting up lists of whats on the sprues and giving them an out of 10 vote.

Well actually that was part of the plan too, I mean if there are product reviews and previews out there, why can't we do it on GW's products? Makes sense enough to show how GW outputted their plastic and possibly metal wares. Also maybe comparing it to the previous edition

But it can be a sure go.

yeah im up for that - ill begin with the DA stuff when it comes out - ive got the army box ordered so ill get an early looks at the devastators and dark angel sprues.
