Blog Entries: 3  |  Custodians - 2 Openings We are opening 2 more Custodian slots to the increasing demand of BATTLEFIELD 40k, our in house 40kTerran game that pits Terran generals against each other! We are taking people who are interested. If you do not know what BF 40k is check this out: What is BF40k (Rules and FAQs) Those are the basic ideas. This is NOT a staff position. No moderation powers will be given outside the BF40k system. This will not make you any better than any other member - we do not promote elitism. This is a Committee group - meaning you will only get a badge for your service. Failure to perform will result in temporary-expulsion. So this is for the dedicated =) Ideal Custodians - -VAST Knowledge of 40k Armies (Knows a TON of 40k armies, units, models, points, stats) -Must know how to the BF40k SYSTEM works -Must know how to SETUP a BF40k Match We ask people to please submit their interest here, starting out with a simple paragraph on why you deserve to be a custodian =). and we will follow up with a review. Thanks. We will be taking Interviews + Nominations into consideration. Nominations will be given by current custodians. Finally - lets all have fun guys. This is absolutely NOT the last time openings will be had. There will be many more in the future as the site grows. Do not take our decisions/rejections personally. Ikarus

| Re: Custodians - 2 Openings i would like to throw my name in the hat i have access to all the dexes (cept the new ork but that is gonna change soon) im always here at one point in time daily and ive got great map and scenerio ideas why i deserve to be a custode: i dont know if i deserve it but i would like to do it i know how to set up battles & i know the battlefield system works im a 16 yr vet with knowledge on fluff and other aspects of the hobby

  | Re: Custodians - 2 Openings I could help out in this project.Been playing since the 80's and I have every codex except necrons and i plan on getting it.I am also on multi times daily since i am basicly Mr Mom right know.Would just need a little tut on how to make battle fields on the computer other than paint but other than that i would be glad to help out the other Custodian and take some of the load off them.

| Re: Custodians - 2 Openings HEY I wanna throw my name in!!  I am on pretty much every day I have every codex now and would LOVE to set up some battles and senarios!!! I will have much more free time soon and will be on the computer for most of that time. I am becoming more familiar with the 40K battle field area and am participating in more and more battles. I have a good working knowledge of several graphics programs and pretty sure I can make some awesome maps (but not like Spikeys 3-d showoff thinger!! not yet!) I do have a working knowledge of several armies, true combat experience for more interesting boards, and can look up lots of stuff quickly if need be. Lastly I would like to help out the site more than just posting comments! I think this would be a great way to help out with some of my strengths, like battle planning and map making, and negate some of my weaknesses, such as crunching mass amounts of fluff stories in the libraium with Erus and Celestial, or making killer piccys like Cag. Thanks for the opportunity and I look forward to Helping out in this compacity or another.

| Re: Custodians - 2 Openings ah ha! i would love to be a custodian. reasons for this would be the fact that i eat and sleep this great game. i have access to ALL codexes and a very good working knowledge of most armies cuz i've played them one time or another. I'm also logged on to 40kterra at least 5 times a week 7-8 hours a day. i would be honored to be allowed to custode.

| Re: Custodians - 2 Openings I would deeply enjoy joining the ranks of the Custodians. "Why?" You may ask. My answer is simply this. I have access to every single codex that is currently out, I have in depth knowledge of the rules of the game and I even have several of the codicies memorized. But my ability to memorize stat lines and points cost is not why I ask to join the holy ranks of the custodians. The main reason that I would like to join this team is so that I can contribute in some way to this site, other than posting. I cant afford to give money to the site, nor do I have the knowledge of coding or that stuff to help in the development or running of this site. I would just like to help in the way that I know I best can. Thanks ahead for any consideration of me for this posting.

Reasons being that I like the battlefield and I've been involved with it since day one of it's operation...Just never got to be a custode. I have all the Codexes. And I've always got ideas in my head for battles + maps. It'd be fun for me to contribute.

Just like to say that since playing my first BF a few months ago, I'm hooked, and I'm working on 3 lists right now. I think we need custodians badly, because buisness is really picking up. This is good for BF, because we'll all probably get more people to vote on the battles, and the more imput the better. I love the BF, great place to improve your real life lists, or to test ideals. So I hope we get some new custodes soon!

I can pretty much guess which 2 members will become custodians (then again there might be a 3rd slot open since I'm MIA alot of the time now) but the final decision hasn't been made by Ikarus to the best of my knowledge.
