Custom Avatars - 40K Terra

I have been working on this project for about a week now. Basically what you do is make posts on the forum as usual. Every time you get make a post, you get a point. You can use these points to buy items. These items go towards creating your own, unique Space Marine avatar. Items have different costs, depending on how good they are. The better they are, the more they cost, and the rarer they will be.

Below is an example of a basic space marine:

This is the same Space Marine, but lots of items have been added to it:

There are 450 different items to chose from. Each piece of armour is available in different colours. All the pieces are separate from each other, and can be placed in any different configuration. Almost all parts are available in; Black, White, Blue, Red, Green, Gold, Purple and grey/metal. The gold items cost more than their other coloured equivalents. Weapons include:

Boltguns
Flamers
Bolt Pistols
Plasma Pistols
Meltaguns
Plasma Guns
Power Axes
Power Swords
Hammers
Power fists
Crozius
Force Weapons
Guardian Spear

More items are being added all the time. There are so many items that you can create thousands of different configurations.

Known problems that cannot be fixed at this moment in time are:

When you go into the edit avatar when you want to change it, some of the items will get moved from their proper place. The only way to get round this is to place them in the correct place again.
You are not able to sell items once you have bought them. So if you buy an item you are stuck with it, so choose wisely.

These may be fixed if the people who made the original mod get round to working on it.

The mod is made by Living Avatars. I have simply replace the doll pack with the Space Marine items.

You can access your custom avatar through the User CP, under the 'Avatar' section on the left column. Then click on the "Custom Avatar" image.

Some pretty sweet items would be servo-arms and Narthecium/Reductor for apothacaries or tech-marines

Just made mine but couldn't afford weapons...yet!

and chapter Icons for the first foundings and other biggies would cool

Im hoping to add more specialised stuff like that and also some Pre-Herecy armour. I will notify people when and what I have added when i have made them.

I will not be making terminators, dreanoughts and veichles. If people really want, I can make some scouts too.

erm, im not sure really. I will probably stick to Space Marines really. Then I can really build on it and have loads of items. This pack is already really diverse. While testing it, I have managed to make a Librarian, Chaplain, Adeptus Custode, Marenus Calgar Guard and even a Custodian.

Other races would be good, any way this is a really good feature and could add to the appeal of tha site by letting people make there own custom space marine, and hopefuly Ork.

I like this... Just another bit o' flair for the site. My next suggestion to you Cag is chapter-specific heraldry/bits. Those would be fairly easy, and in a fair amount of demand.

Can people please link to images of pre heracy stuff, and any other items that you would like including. Stuff like Battlewaggon and GW online sture stuff would be good.

Because its gold?!? I would get posting then to finish it off. You have got that far with only 20 posts, so a few more will get you most of the parts you need.

I know im being cheeky here because of everything else you have to do, but a greater selection of shield shapes would be fantastic, possibly the ability to add decals to them as well (trying to make my chapter master and he just needs a rectangular shield with a winged skull on it)... thank you and +rep
