JOB: Imperial Remembrancers - 40K Terra

- IMPERIAL REMEMBRANCERS -
40kTerra Dedicated Writers

We are looking for people to fill the Imperial Remembrancers role. Imperial Remembrancers are individuals who are interested in writing for 40kTerra. This is not a staff position, but will serve as a development usergroup within 40kterra.

Misconception:

Staff = There to moderate and regulate forums. Authority.
V.S.
Usergroup = Groups within 40kTerra that assist in the growth and strength of the site.

The difference between a member and a Remembrancer is that Remembrancers are fully dedicated individuals who will crank out works on a more consistent basis.

Imperial Rembrancers ideally should be - but not limited to:

Highly Motivated Individual who love 40kTerra (haha)
People who like to write.
People who have photoshop or art skills
Anything that will help in the literature, fluff, and design department.

Imperial Remembrancers will help - but not limited to:

Creating Articles (Such as tutorials, tacticas, interviews, reports etc.)
Writing & Assisisting the 40kTerra's INQUISITOR e-magazine
Assisting in the PRIMARCH project
Designing Graphics, Artwork, etc.
and more~

Imperial Remembrancers benefits - but not limited to:

Private Imperial Remembrancer Forums
Imperial Remembrancers Badge
Satisfaction that you are helping out 40kTerra
Incentive/Merit Based Commission (Reputation, Credit (TBA) etc)

As this is indeed a usegroup with benefits, we ask that your interest in participation will bring along participation. If you simply join to gain a badge and do not perform, you will be removed from the usergroup. If you show any misconduct you may be removed. If you bad mouth 40kTerra, and represent us wrongly... you will feel the wrath of my stick! But that is highly unlikely.

**This does not mark any elitism, nor will any staff powers will be provided to normal Imperial Ambassadors members. Ummm.. Is this not what the Librarians do, or did I completely mistake the purpose of that usergroup when we made it?

I'll do it if no one else wants to take a crack at it. I'm in college for game art and design/graphic design so yea also I love to write stories.. Wish i still had my gundam and halo stories

Just a quick thought, but if memory serves...(as it does lack from time to time) Rememberancers were artisans of the fine arts...

Writers poets painters sculptors musicians photographers...people who by definition remembered deeds and occurrences by their works...

What would rememberancers have to do with the Primarchs Project (which is basically a forum based set of rules designed to include these characters in friendly games)or anything other than submiting articles/graphics for the e-zine (IMO this would not necessitate staff positions or layout and content)

Am I misunderstanding this new position?

Well no they aren't...if you think about the role of a Librarian in a chapter it is to maintain the accuracy of known information and maintain those records with extreme prejudice...

Where as the Rememberancers were interpreting events as they unfolded in their own artistic formats...in that manner a more complete picture was developed of the events...

So not necessarily the same duties afforded to each...rather one was building the information being kept in check by the other
