while i might not be able to get to a GD very easily, i'd definitely wear it, sign me up as well! i don't know how i'd get it. maybe get it to ikarus and we'll meet up. speaking of which, ik, we still have to game :]

erus- chill out, have a beer and relax dude. i aint trying to piss on your parade dude. you're design is a great (as you put it) IDEA. i'd like to point out that the whole point of this forum topic is to discuss what members like and dislike about the t-shirts. am i correct? i was merely stating my opinion. no one has to go with it if they dont want to.

if you want a staff only shirt great put "staff" on it. now no one who can read will not know that you are part of the staff for the site. if you use just the icons they arent gonna know what in the hell its supposed to mean. regardless if we put nothing but the site web address on the shirt someone will come ask what its about and you can go into overdrive to explain it. why do you need something to point out you are a staff member. if youre at a games day or similar the "staff" who are important to folks are the tourney staff. most folks could care less about staff from a website. granted some may but just as many would talk to someone with out the "staff" or "icons of staff positions" as someone with them.

were you also thinking of creating designs for all the members who arent staff? becuase i would like a site shirt myself. i dont know when i'd get to the next seattle gd but i'd really like showing off the shirt to the local game store and local tourneys and get more of my local folks interested in it. BUT if you youre only designing a staff shirt i'll stop watching this topic and leave you to your staff only designs.

that probably will tick you off a bit but yours really po'd me. maybe i missed it but i was under the impression (until you said these were designs for staff shirts) that these were going to be shirts for all site members. so by seeing you say they were for staff really insulted me.

ok time to calm down a bit and get back on topic.

the modified aquila design and the quote are both great ideas and i'd be proud to wear a site shirt with them on it. how ever if you put "imperial citizen" (as i'm not one of the site staff) on it anywhere we're asking for GW to come shut us down.

Just to correct a miscommunicated information.


The shirts that have the badges are part of the GAMESDAY Design T-SHIRT.


Standard version will have the logo, link, and statement line and thats it~ And everyone will have this version.

Hey NZ is only a 4 hour flight from Sydney...so make it a weekender and the three of you guys do a meatgrinder mission...or maybe a round robbin and post the results up...

Now BOT...Personally, as I stated somewhere...I like the idea of the large Logo on the back and a smaller one on the left breast...then adding the appropriate usernames, ranks, tags, site add and motto in a tasteful format...

As for saying staff or anything else of that nature..I look at it like this...we are ALL terrans here and we all add to the site so what does it matter...if someone is interested in it they will ask questions and look into it for themselves, lets face it all...we don't want a bunch of idots running amok here...seen too much of that on other forums...

So I would take the design you posted and do this...replace the rank Icons with the large logo...put a smaller logo on the left breast and user name below that...the site add above the back logo with the motto underneath
then if you are really into the whole rank thing...why not see about running them down a sleeve...or maybe putting them in geometric patterns below or above the chest badge?...(does that sound confusing to anyone else?LMAO)

I think that the picture should be large on the back with name, site address and maybe a smaller pic above the stuff.

Wolfpack: I'll go but for one reason, the lack of money and a job has been a constant thorn in my side when it comes to spending on 40k and stuff.

heres the situation:
gripplon, erus is just making suggestions. this is, as you said, for seeing what you guys think of the t-shirt IDEAS. the staff symbols arent to show off or anything. we dont HAVE to include those, but the company that we might use, that erus got, is willing to make these customizations. which is kind of a big deal, since its alot of work to make these kind of t-shirts (see my other post)
if you want your own type of customization, all you have to do is ask!
plus, the staff things were just for the games day shirts only.
these shirts are for EVERYONE. not just staff. offering them only to staff would be a serious dick move, and i dont know what gave you the impression that they were only for staff.
but if the regular members want them, all you guys have to do is ask, but not now. we are still settleing what the shirts are gonna LOOK like, right?

I don't suggest you say if you want your own customization just ask because that would just lead to stupid stuff like me asking for customization of adding my avatar on the shirt. See completly stupid requests unless you do it then your nice and I won't have to launch an exterminatis on your planet.
