   | yeah definately...but why not have a second one made with the modified loggo over the left breast about 3-4 inches in size and the larger one on the back with the original wording?...just a thought...( I kinda like to watch the galaxy burn :P)

| hope this isn't counted as double posting, but here is a mockup of the logo with text. He has a slight glitch with his 3d program, so that is still yet to come (as well as some further texturing) but here it is.  Also.... Here is a monochromed version to consider... | As soon as we get a set number of designs (i'm really looking for a good design for Chicago foremost, as that is the nearest one), hopefully 3, we'll be a go. But i'll start the thread for slogans on just regular t-shirts. But, to highlight... Here is my idea so far... Front is just the finished logo you have seen... Centered and taking up most of the front of the shirt.. The back, idea 1, could have your user name (in appropriate colors) with the rank badges and such, and maybe your sig quote (if applicable). Since these GD Chicago shirts will be done in low quantity at a shop local to me (most likely) we can deal with the high level of customization! Sound good? |

| The proposed idea for the Chicago GD shirt (since most who are wanting it are staff) will be identical to the staff t-shirt, which in and of itself is different only that it denotes user name and has the small picture boxes for rank. The regular user will have a 40K Quote of some kind replacing that. This is done only because we could not feasibly offer reasonable prices to the entire members base if they all had custom names, but we can if we do it with a set of 'X' quotes. The low number of Moderators and above means we can reasonably offer them a staff shirt only slightly more expensive. However, if a regular member is willing to pay the custom price from our supplier, I'd see no problem in making them a **** like the one below. | Issue that was brought before me.. Please no the black background for the image is actually just a product of imaging software I used (cheap kind) to give a rough mock up of a shirt design, and will not actually be there, just the gold symbol and the black ****. |

Blog Entries: 1 | i've got a problem with the latest layout. large icon on front - so so , i'd think it would look better with a large icon on the back so its easier to view (especially if the wearer crosses arms alot!) and a small icon on the left brest. user name - again it would go better on the front with the small icon i think this would work best as now i (as a dont know nobody personally from this site) can now put a face to the site name i'm used to talking to versus having to go behind them or ask them to turn around to know who i'm talking to. make sense? site ranks - PLEASE dont put these on the shirts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the whole point of the shirts is to draw attention and membership to the site not to pumping up how bad a** you think you are on the site. if you're the site head honcho good for you, if you're a lowly new member good for you too. youre both members leave it at that. just my 2 cents grip

| I agree. This isn't the military where we display our medals and stars to show all the others how tough we are. Including rank icons is just going a little too far.(And for someone like Cag there wouldn't be enough space)  And the large icon on the back would look better than on the front, I don't know why but I just think It'd look better.

| i like the design. it still incorporates the aquila and 8 pointed star, but not in a way (argueably i suppose) that infringes on GW's copyrights on them. customized shirts for each user is awesome. not 'showing off' at all. does anyone on the staff honestly thinks theyre better then any other user just because they can delete someones post? just something about making T-shirts. almost all t shirts are made using a thing called screen printing. the way that works is you make a design, and then for each color you make a nylon screen. it takes alot of work to make screens. now erus's mom is willing to make custom screens for everyones username and ones for each staff symbol. you might not realize how much work that would be, but for a company to offer that kind of deal is really, really good. my dad works in a graphics company. thats how i know all of that.
