Blog Entries: 3     |  Temporary Chat: XChat OK! UPDATE!!!! MUCH EASIER CLIENT FOUND!!! DL and install the program from this link: http://www.xchat.org/ The interface will prompt you for a basic SN and variations(in case yours is taken. Anything goes, except for spaces. And of course, our channel does NOT allow profanity, please use your forum sn), and a real name, which you can fill in w/ gibberish. It will also have a scroll menu for networks to join. This dosen't really matter, so select 'AccessIRC' (for ease of purpose!). Once that is done, click the connect button, it'll even have a little power plug + socket icon. It'll log you in, and you'll only need to click the connect button from then on! Once you connect, it will pop up with a little menu, with channel selection. You can choose nothing, join a specific channel, or select from the list. Select the middle, that option that says 'Join a specific channel'. It should already have the '#' sign. Type in (be sure to do so AFTER the '#', w/ no spaces) 40kTerra. What will be in the box is : "#40kTerra" To Register your nickname(to change type '/nick' with a space between the '/nick' and your name, no space can be used in the nickname though!!!) type : /ns register password email. Password and email are obviously meant to be the password and your email. This will send an authentication code to your email, and their will be on-screen instructions of what to do! More to come as I find, but XChat is the way to go!!!! Note: The password will probably be prompted for acces to the channel.If it does prompt you, it is 'terra'. The password is set so no random spammer can wander in!!!

| Fantastic. It even works on a mac... although ypu need to go to Xchataqua The set up is almost identical as Erus directs in OP. You just need to follow his directions step by step and look at the windows. Also follow the instructions on the xchataqua webpage

| hairy just run the program once its open hit server then connect. then type in 40kterra should be that easy. though i hate how thers no sound alerts so im usualy looking at other things and always miss when people log in lol
