HIGH LORDS - > Website Moderator. This is the Standard Staff Position. Will have ability to super-moderate ALL forum sections. Specific Forum Section Responsibilities will be assigned in the Moderator Forum Section. This is just to divide more focus into specific areas. HOWEVER, High Lords will be able to enforce rules throughout the whole forums regardless.


DUE TO ABUSE, AND PEOPLE NUKING THEMSELVES. HIGH LORDS WILL NO LONGER HAVE THE ABILITY TO HARD DELETE POSTS. NOR WILL CHANGES BE ALLOWED AFTER X AMOUNT OF DAYS. WE WILL NOT TOLERATE PEOPLE RIPPING CONTENT OUT OF THE SITE, ABUSING THEIR ABILITIES.

Why? I entrusted my staff with their powers, and this has been way overabused way too many times. I dont want another D_C or Mart thing happening (No offense.. i understand content is yours.. but nuking, is uncalled for).




ARBRITES -> Member Leaders

= ARBITES will get Arbite badge, but no colored naming.

Arbites will NOT be the mainstay staff position, however they CAN report posts like any other member. They will, however be given moderation abilities to their specialty. Think of these are 'moderators' but not really. They are more than that. The priveledge of YOU having a badge is for you to perform. Think of this more of a badge of recognition.

An Arbite is a member who is specialized in a certain topic. They will become 'member leaders' for that topic - the forum section.

For Example: Ikarus123 is a hardcore veteran Space Marine player. He wants to become an Arbite, because he feels that he is highly experienced with Space Marines and wants to contribute back to the website.


Arbites are suggested/expected to help produce:

What can you bring to Terra:

-Well I bring my dry sense of sarcastic humor.
-My usually even and level head (both in shape and metaphorically)
-Bad spelling on occasion
-More than 15 years experience in GW gaming
-Knowledge of most 40k armies. (Eldar and Black Templars are the only dex's that I am currently missing)
-Over 5 years management training in the real world sales environment
-All kinds of hours of availability (I am on both during the day and during the night, often I don't see mods on when I am logged on)
-Dependability to do what is right, just and best for the site
-I also have about 2 years experience being a Story Teller for a Vampire LARP game in my town, so I know how to deal with angered gamers. I Have the ability to hear both sides of the story and help them resolve issues in a mature and respectful manner
-Not mention my vast knowledge of WWII and the game of Flames of War.
-I will stop talking for now, but if you have any questions feel free to PM me and I will answer them.


What you have Achieved: Hmm... I have at one point or another owned all, but a handful of armies for both 40k and Fantasy. I place in the top 3 in most tournaments that I enter. Other than that, not sure what else I should put down.


Any other reason why: I love this game and this form. I want the chance to repay this site for all it has done for us, so I am offering my services in any way that I can. I would do my best to up hold the standards and honor that I believe this site strives to achieve.

I'm applying for a few different positions.First:
I'm applying for the High Lords position. I've been a member of this sight since almost the very beginning, and I've been mooching off all the great helpful people here. I think it's high time that I give something back to this site, and doing that in the form of helping moderate seems fitting.
(no, being here for a while isn't my only qualification) I know most of the people here, not personally, but I know who they are, what they're like, what offends them etc. I know the behavioral code of 40K Terra, I know what's ok and what's out of hand. And, I spend more time on here than is healthy for one human being, so, for the foreseeable future, I don't have many time constraints other than school.

Second, I'm applying for an Adeptus Arbites position in the Video Games section. While not a major part of the sight at all, I think I could contribute a lot to it, and make it a bigger part of 40K Terra than it is now. I know that I could add a lot of helpful modding advice to the DoW section, ask for gameplay tactics, offer help etc.

Thirdly: If no one else steps forward(I mean absolutely no one else) for the weekend challenge coordinator, I could help with that, with some help of my own. I think that with some more feedback for contest ideas, the challenges could still be a lot of fun, and hopefully grow in competitors and the fun factor.

Highlord of Terra. I've also been here since quite close to the beginning, and I know ALOT about editing forum systems. I also think I'm good with the disciplinary side of things - years of, and this may sound sad, but managing clans over the internet and forums really helps you learn how to discipline people, and what for.

Well, I could possibly take on a position, as I work from home and on the site every day.
I have played the game of 40K for about 15 years. Dark Eldar is my specialty, but I have at one time or another owned and sold off an army of almost every race. I think I would be best suited for painting guides and tuts, and I believe my conversion ability is pretty high to.

I have quite a few threads on this site with a lot of my work, so you can look and see for yourself if I would qualify for one of the positions.

This is a very good site with a lot of good people, and if I can help out than it would be an honor.

I'm asking for the position of Custode.

I bring my knowledge of the many dex's that are beening utilized (I either own it in hard copy or on PDF). I also have a keen sense of coming up with original battles. I like to believe that I'm also very fair when it comes to setting up any batles plus I have plenty of computer access time. I have been gaming for over a decade and have been playing 40k for 3-4 years.

When asking what I have achieved I would say that I have done everything in my power to keep GW in business, damn expensive game. I have also owned almost every army expect 2-3 xeno's that weren't that cool till recently.

The position I'm interested in is Arbites for Chaos, or more specifically Nurgle. I have been playing 40k for around 5 years, the entire time being Death Guard or Nurgle-aligned only. I believe I have a lot of information (albeit sometimes useless trivia, lol) to offer to other members, be it newcomers and veterans alike. I'm big on background history and fluff.

I would like to apply for High Lord of Terra, as both for reason above and my willingness to help out others, even if it's on subjects I may not know of the most (Eldar for example). I'd like to think I'm a decent and fair person, I also realize this is just a website and there is a life outside the internet . I know I haven't been here too long, and I'm quite sure there are more hardcore or veteran folks who are also going for it, but I thought I'd try!

What you can bring:I can bring my skill in design and my art skills for helping the website out. I can bring my experience in Adobe Master Suite CS3.

For the Arbites- I can bring my Knowledge of Imperial Guard and for Fantasy The Empire I have immense knowledge of both and have all the codexes of both. Imp guard was my first army so I had to learn about them really fast. Empire likewise for fantasy

I create Banners for other Websites. I designed a website for a class project in school. I have created Sigs for people on these forums.

I am on 40kterra.com daily for hours at a time checking in on everything and inputing when I can. I really want to help out the site as much as I can.
