Its patterns are strange to the eye, and almost gleam blue in the light, and indeed when the weapon is charging, they do flare an icy cerulean color too bright to be looked at for long. Master-Crafted Plasma Pistol that is exempt from the "Gets Hot!" rule. Also, Ferrus Manus may opt to not move in his turn, and have the Ferrum Incendia fire as a plasma gun, or forgo his upcoming assault phase for it to be able to shoot as a plasma cannon. Iron Hands: Legend has it Ferrus slew a giant C'tan like construct by holding it under magma for a number of days. Ever since he bested that beast his hands have been infused with the same material that it was made of, shimmering metal that can in one instant be as hard as adamant, the next as fluid as mercury. So miraculous is this occurence, that Ferrus needs not a forge to make his works, merely his own two hands. Yet, anything he produces can rarely be destroyed by aught else than that which made them. Counts as a Warscythe per Codex Necrons, though Ferrus may only use 'Iron Hands' or 'Forgebreaker' per assault phase, not both in the same one. He may also only make two attacks when using 'Iron Hands'. Forgebreaker Lovingly crafted by Fulgrim in a contest of skills held under Mount Narodnya on Holy Terra when the brothers first met. Forgbreaker is a massive ebony hafted hammer, the face of which is worked to resemble that of an eagle, with the back being the outstretched wings, the eagle in a pose of flight as if moments away from talons grasping it's prey. It is said only the ancient Nordyc thunder gods bore hammers of greater power, and that the virtues of love, honour, loyalty, friendship, even death and vengeance were embodied within this peerless maul. It counts as a Master-Crafted Thunderhammer in CC, but rather than striking last in initiative, Ferrus Manus strikes at initiative 3. Armor of the Gorgon: Other primarchs could be called beautiful, handsome, or riveting. Not so with Ferrus Manus. A scarred, grave, and often coldly violent man, his armor reflected his nature. Made of gloss black plate, ornamentation was not to be seen upon this casque of armor, other than the beaten iron symbol of his legion on the left shoulder pad, and the worked chain link cloak draped about him. However, just as Ferrus himself still was not a heinous monster, though cold and scarred, his armor too carried the hint of austere, spartan beauty that comes only from the hands of the finest craftsman. Grants a 2+ armour save Mechanicus Force Field: A gift from the Adeptus Mechanicus, this device is a hidden piece of arcano-tech in the high gorge of Ferrus' armor. When activated, such is its power, that not even a ripple or shimer is to be seen. No hazing of the air. Often foe will turn and flee, screaming in despiar when not even their most powerful guns hurt the Gorgon, fearing the God who can stop bullets in air, and explode missiles inches from himself, and be unscathed. It confers a +3 inv save. Master Smith: Such was the pride and unparalleled skill of Vulkan and Ferrus Manus when forging, that they were able to surpass even the most skilled of tech priests and craftsmen. This extends to directly enhance the master-crafted rule to where all missed to hits rolls are re-rolled by Vulkan or Ferrus Manus, and their body guards count as having Master-Crafted Weapons. Iron Will: Ferrus's strength of will is legendary, as is he despise of weakness. Most of all, some whisper that his truest fear, his deepest shame, is that he will be too weak to finish the work his father had given him to do. To weak to do his duty. And it is said that this fear, this shame alone, steels Ferrus' nerve to the point to stand in front of any enemy, defiant and un-relenting until the foe is gone. If Ferrus is ever killed, roll a D6 on a 5+ he keeps fighting with 1 wound (This may only be done once, the second time he is killed he is removed a casualty as normal) Spearhead: Famous for leading furious and unrelenting assaults on enemy positions , Ferrus Manus has the following universal special rules: Fearless, Counter Attack, and Furious Charge. These are conferred on any unit he joins. Purge the Weak: Ferrus has an extreme hatred of weakness in all it's forms. He is strictly spartan and insures all around him adhere to his own personal code of conduct, which is often too much for normal humans to bear. Any non Space Marine allies of an army including Ferrus Manus are at -1 Ld because of the rigors Ferrus put them through before battle, and the near hysterical strain of combat they are expected to engage in. Morlocks: Ferrus Manus may possess a body guard comprising of Morlocks, which are compirse of any selections from a standard Codex Space Marines Terminator Command squad. The exceptions being one terminator may purchase the Legion Banner (Sacred Standard) at +50 pts, and one may upgrade to an apothecary at +30 pts. (Counts as having a combi-bolter and chain fist), and a Company Champion at +20 pts (Lightning Claws and a 4+ Invulnerable Save). Limited to a 5 man squad only. credit- BrainDeleted

| Marshall Arnim Kagori ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I think Ferrus should get a +1 toughness to represent his bad-assery, hatred of physical weakness, fighting style and most importantly, Iron Hands. It just seems to me that he'd be tougher. BvL PS. I also originally contributed Forgebreaker from the HH books.
