SBE:now you can....sort of


My take on his stat line....+2 strength &+1 wound for being a beast but -1 attack for not being particularly fierce or a combat freak.

Now then...he doesn't need a gun and I doubt he had one because of his mind so how about we give him a staff with some name I'll leave to his fluff devotees

The staff should give...count as a master-crafted force weapon and possibly have the option to fire as a heavy flamer or wind of chaos type thing? Or fire Bolt of change as per the codex?
Say Magnus can focus his magic into it and project through it?

Ideas

Give him master crafted "runic" power armour (2+ save3+ invulnerable) ?

Let him automaticaly pass perils of the warp tests

Somthing to do with Warp Eye symbol-all seeing/knowing enemy cant use infiltrators/make the enemy deploy first?

Warp malevolence-any enemy must take Ld test or be at -1 Ld,Int,A when assaulting (along the lines of the horror Tyranid power)?

Master of warp-doesnt need pyschic hood but can by will alone act as if has one

Forbidden knowledge-give him a chaos power...?

All Seeing Eye: Magnus often had prophetic visions even on the field of battle. Every Thousand Son unit in Magnus's army counts as having an auspex as per Codex: Space Marines.

Sorcerer: Magnus, despite the Emperor's orders, practices the Dark Arts. He counts as having a Psykic hood as per Codex: Space Marines and automatically passes all psykic tests. If an enemy is foolish enough to engage Magnus with mind war or any other psykic power that targets Magnus alone then Magnus may attempt to reverse the power back onto the user on a +4 killing them out right before the power is actually used, if this roll is failed then the power is used on Magnus as normal.

Lore Master: Magnus has all the psykic powers from Codex: Space Marines & Codex: Chaos Space Marines (Even those of other Gods.) He may always use Bolt of Change, when not in combat of course, plus one psykic power per phase of his turn. I.E He may use Warp Time, Bolt of Change and wind of chaos in his shooting phase, and choose to use his force weapon in the assault phase.

Monstrous Visage: Magnus the Red was a giant even among his brother Primarchs. This in addition to his flame red hair and single, glaring eye made him a terrible sight to behold. Magnus is a Monstrous Creature (Rules found in the Rulebook) and the Horror of The Warp power from Codex: Tyranids is constantly in affect with Magnus as the user.

Staff of the Ancients: Magnus carries a large rune coated staff to battle as a focus for his mighty psykic power. This counts as two-handed, master-crafted force weapon.

Runic Armor: Magnus has a +2/+3 inv save.



Theres a start...good Ideas Pert. Though the armor is a standard for all Primarchs.

I know he has the armour I was jus trying to give some fluf to go with it rather than the plain "normal master crafted and powerfield"
