Where does the fluff on these weapons come from, if I may ask?

The black sword is from the Black Templars. It made sence to me that this is where the legend starts.

The Soulspear is from the Soul Drinkers 1st book. It says there tht it is a weapon given to the chapter and used to be Dorn's own.

I think you should also say that in established positions ie...ruins and the like...that this rule is void also...as in battle, defensive positions in these types of environments are either hastily set up or troops are simply dispersed through out to allow the best firing lanes...

Hey, what is the point of using the Soul Spear over the Black Sword? Neither one seems to have any big difference?

IF you guys really want it that way. I took the rule straight from the IA article on the Imperial Fists. It's just reworded.

*Act 1 Scene 1 enter Captain slow*

Okay, a few thing id like to pick up on, first, why has he got the black sword? i belive (im recalling this from memory as i dont have a BT codex to hand) that it was forged from Shards of dorns sword, it wasnt dorns actuall sword.
secondly, the soulspear, very cool, and in the books, is seriously destructive. BUT its alos apart of the soul drinkers controdiction. so...shoul we really have it? as we dont know, with out any doubt that Dorn actually used it?
well, there my main 2 critisims
tho, why just a bolt pistol? why not make it master crafted? he IS a Primarch no?
as for the rest, the special rules side of things i dont really have much bother with them. save m,aybe make him able to pass and fail leadership checks. my reasoning: doran was fairly uncompromiseing, adn would try to lead from the front if possible. (ill try and dig up some fluff to back that up when i get a chance)
anyway there my opninion.
