SPECIAL RULES

Salamander's Talon: A broad, silvered blade that stood 8ft from hilt to tip and 2ft wide, this monstrous weapon was one of Vulkan's favoured creations. Made in the rather simple but beautiful tradition of Nocturne, the blade is like an overgrown broadsword, with a cobalt fire drake's hide wrapping the handle, and the pommel is silver and bronze mixed, forming a fierce likeness of a snarling fire drake. It is said that in the depths of combats the eye of the drake on the pommel will flicker, and the blade itself will flicker with a pale were-fire.

Master-Crafted Power Weapon that adds +1S on a roll of 6.

Nocturne's Heart An inferno pistol with a dargons maw for the muzzle, the promethium pouring out from the nozzles and mouth, the pilot light in the mouth, the casing worked in bronze and copper, handle of drakes hide and ebon steel, the eyes of the drake set in brilliant topaz.

Esteban VII pattern works by producing a small scale fusion reaction by using a
pyrum/promethium fuel mix. This is projected as a blast of incredible heat that can burn through almost anything imaginable

Armour of the Master Smith: Crafted by the Master Blacksmith, this Armor utilises the finest metals and alloys known to the Adepts of Humanity. Smoky emerald green admantium combines with sections of ceramite coloured black as the darkest night, embossed with numerous emblems of Salamander heads and short handled blacksmith hammers across its surface it also incorporates the skin of the largest Drake ever known in a a full length cloak. A material which only the purest adamantine alloy can equal for weight to protection ratio.

Grants a 2+ armour save, a 3+ invulnerable save and because of the Drake's heat resistant hide is immune to flamer weapons and reduces the strength of melta weapons by -2 (i.e. a meltagun would be Str6 rather than 8 against Vulkan).

Master Smith: Such was the pride and unparalleled skill of Vulkan and Ferrus Manus when forging, that they were able to surpass even the most skilled of tech priests and craftsmen. This extends to directly enhance the master-crafted rule to where all missed to hits rolls are re-rolled by Vulkan or Ferrus Manus, and their body guards count as having Master-Crafted Weapons.


Fire Drakes:Vulkan may possess a body guard comprising 3 Captains in Terminator Armour, per Codex: Space Marines with the following fixed wargear:

• 2 Captains have Master-Crafted Thunder Hammers, Storm Shields, and Salamander cloaks (as Adamantine mantles).
• 1 Captain has a Heavy Flamer constructed by Vulkan himself and contains only the most purified fuels resulting in a near roar of white flame adding +1 Strength to the flamer (Str 6 Ap4 weapon), a Hammer of Nocturn (power weapon with +1S and -1I), and a Salamander Cloak.

Right Vulkan has been filled out and is now a guy who can retake his place as one of the big badasses.

why does it say ferrus and vulkan have mastercrafting? put ferrus's rules in his special place
