|  dawn of war? need info! hey guys and gals, im heared dawn of war is pretty awsome but havent bought it for myself, so im thiking of buying it but whats in it?.gimmie an intro like the weapons set, how you start a file what i need to install it, tell me what i can do in it and preferablly, id love some screen shots and such, please guys. cheers

| well if you only get the newest one then you can't use 5 of the 7 races in multiplayer. Depending on which country your in (im guessing UK from the argos reference) you can pick up the full pack for about £15 from Gamestation, Game or HMV. Trust me the Pack of 3 is only a bout a £1 or £2 more than DoW: DC alone. Best place for the intro would be Youtube. |

Some videos Some screen shots A review Tech info and much more  For example, if you bother for 2 mins, you can even make an account here you can download the demo from here and try the game for yourself Don`t expect to win on your first try :P It`s a bit different from most rts games.

Blog Entries: 2 | DOW will pretty much rock your world. play the Signle player and you'll have it down in under 20 mins. it'll talk practice before you can start going 7 on 1 but if you need a 40k fix at 3:00am and your local games workshop is closed you'll freaking love it

Blog Entries: 1 | Master.... get Medieval Total War 2. Best in the series. And Empire : Total War is coming out soon, set in the 1700s-1800s. Sorry to be a ranter, but DoW while good, is nothing special. It's a good game if you have people on multiplayer who know you, but the replayability of the campaign is not astoundingly good. The DC campaign is all well and good to play a couple of times, but the repetitiveness does start to bug you down. Good Points: The lack of resource collecting makes it all based around combat, which is what you'd need in a 40k game. The graphics are old, but still look good to this date. The squad organisation of the game is well managed, as is the weapon selection. All in all, it's good, but not brilliant. Apologies on the rant sort of review thing. =p EDIT: Forgot to mention Soulstorm is coming out, which might render all of what i've said useless. Then again, it might not.

| I still perfer Star Craft more. I'm just drooling over the trailers for Star Craft 2 Heresy I know... But to me theres nothing more terrifying then seeing your base totally surrounded by countless Zerg. Dont get me wrong I still love the DoW series and its a great game nonetheless.

| ok, damn you terans lol i went and bought the DoW anthology, so all three things. currently gettin used to the game via tuts. my question is, as ive installed all three, i started by playing the Dark crusade xpansion of the 3, but if i load either of the other two will they be different or should i just stick to playing the dark crusade part and ignore the other 2 or wht? its just kind of confusing me, as say with World of warcraft, after the expansion, it carrys on the 1st one,... so is DoW the same in saying that when i go to play i only need to open the DC xpansion... if you know what i mean? lol

Blog Entries: 2 | DoW and WA have different rules than DC But they also have better campaigns... The thing is, DC implements lots of hard caps and it also adds perma invisibility (as oposed to it being an activated ability that kept units from firing ).So, if you want a campaign or want to see how it`s like to maul someone with 8 dreads, go for the other two If you`re fine with dark crusade, stick with it :P

Blog Entries: 2 | Um, no They all need DC if you`re playing DC WA needs DoW though since it`s an addon. Now, if you`re playing DC in multi here`s how the army availability goes: DC ~ Tau + Necron DC + DoW ~ Tau + Necron SM + CSM + Orks + Eldar DC + DOW + WA ~ Tau + Necron SM + CSM + Orks + Eldar + IG Cheers!
