|  *sniff* my soulstorm won't work?!! okay, so put my disc in the dvd drive, then menu comes up and i click on "install the game" and then... i hear lots of clunking noises and absolutely feth-all happens!*cry* being a compleat and utter techno-idiot, any ideas about what's wrong??? i can still play dark crusade fine, although again, my dvd drive makes a few of those funny noises while it loads up... i want to play with the nus with guns!!!*cry* cheers!

(especially the fact that it seems half the damn canuck shipment was 'accidently' sent w/2x french version discs!) and we plan to call in the geek squad from best buy too... hopefully if there's a comp problem then it can fixed quickly in-house, otherwise i'll have to wait untill mid april to send the PC to the shop due to my dad being in 2 hockey pools!>.< cheers!

There's no need to send the entire tower over... And if you don't have the computer skills to remove a DVD player (its not to hard actually... I've watched my mom do it and I think I could figure it out), then surely you must have a friend who can?

Do two things: Try installing another game Try installing Soulstorm on another pc Depending on the outcome you`ll know what to do  DVD drives can be dismatled and cleaned (done it tens of times) but i don`t recommend it to you :P if it`s the game`s fault the shop will change it if you make a little fuss  if it`s the drive, sorry you`ll have to wait for a new one.or it might be the third option: silly windows bug in which case you just hope it goes away and try again in a few days That also randomly works.Good luck!
