ditto hairyyahoo

man i want that so i can take the gretchin, convert this giant mechanised warboss, and have the gretch hanging on (barely) off the guy's shoulder pad edge..

what a waste of the rest of the model that would be though haha

any idea what gun that is?

not quite - more like "Argh! There's a fugling snoting inside my armour biting me!"

that was how the the original version worked iirc, the new one is probably a slightly different principle.

i'd say that a frenzied grot materialising in yur undercrackers is pretty destructive! basically the old version was randomised. on one roll the snotling materialised around you, on another they turned up inside your armour and on a third the popped into existance inside your lower intestines!!!

hence why it gives the recipient a bit of a "shokk".

wow! i like the looks of the blood angels company... is that the one matt hutson started for the white dwarf apocalypse article?
the orky wyrdboy is the model that was first thought to be the new warboss - he's nearly the size of gazghkull! sadly, there will not be a new warboos model however.
again, the new pain boy is big too...

by the way, did you get any photos of the giant apocalypse game that was going on?

cheers!

Default The Advance Sneak Peaks - Part 1

The Advance Sneak Peaks - Part 1

Everything in this post was in the preview models display cases in the Pavillion on the main Studio stand.

New "Soft-Core" plastic Daemonettes!

3-UP of one of the new plastic Bloodletters

3-UP of the new plastic Grave Guard

28mm scale new plastic Grave Guard

3-UP + 28mm Grave Guard side-by-side

3-UP of the new plastic Nob from the Boyz box

28mm scale of the new plastic Nob from the Boyz box

3-UP + 28mm Nob

Unknown series of models:

On second thoughts, the cover of the BL book Zavant comes to mind (look it up on the black library website if you don't know it), perhaps these are intended in the same vein as the Gotrek and Felix models of last year?
Although I could quite easily be completely and utterly wrong about that, so don't go holding me to it! =)

The Advance Sneak Peaks - Part 2

Same again, everything here was in the preview model display cases.

Ork Biker

3-UP greens of the new ork bike fairings

3-UP Tankbustas

Some final sketches of the Ork Bikes

A Screen Capture from their modelling software, featuring the new Ork Bikes

Tankbustas in plastic (IMPORTANT NOTE: Every GW model is produced in 28mm scale at least once in plastic, I even held the Master of the Ravenwing in plastic at Conflict:Scotland back in April)

New Generic Mounted Vampire (presumably the final product will be multipose plastic, just like every new General these days)

New Giant Bat/Vampire in Bat-form (depending on who you ask)

a PROTOTYPE eldar jetbike - Prototype means not a model going into production any time soon!

New Dark Elf Cold One

New Plastic Juggernaught of Khorne!!!!!

Yes, the new Juggernaught is marginally smaller then the old metal one, but I believe this one will be plastic and is undoubtedly scheduled alongside the forthcoming Codexaemons. And anyway, its a more dynamic, and by the looks of things, a more poseable model, which even if it is metal is always a good thing!

Two dead Imperial Warhounds

A giant flying orky contrapshun of some kind - I believe it appears in the Apocalypse book? Built in part using the forthcoming plastic Stompas that everyone knows about.

The Entire Battlefield!

I'd guesstimate the size being around 18"x12". That's a lot of Apocalypse!!
