Blog Entries: 1 | They're pretty good, well done. I particularly like the Dreadnought. No stray paint, nice conversion...

| You gotta love a Dreadnought beating up an Ork. Poor little mite...

| i'd love to see some close-ups of the knights - from the current photos they look pretty nice the one problem i find with models that are mainly metalic is you need to add in some more depth - try highlighting up the taberds and chapter icon a bit. (if it is i'm sorry, but i can't really tell in the group shot there!) you could also try adding in some basic heraldic fields on the blank shoulder pad and ther termies shields too. i did this when painting my mate's grey knights, and it *really* helps to off-set the high amount of metal on the models ![]() also, the dread, while a very nice playing piece could do with some shading & highlighting as he looks quite flat as is... try mixing up some brown/chestnut/flesh inks with a bit of chaos black and water it all down - it'll give you a nice 'weathered' look that you can then highlight back up and it will again really help to give alot more definition to your model! overall it's a great base that with a little bit more work will look truely awe-inspiring! hope this helps, cheers!

| oh and stich the reason for lack of washing is the daemonhunter fluff. Supposedly since dreadnaughts are the resting place for some of the greatest fallen heros of the imperium (especially the dh dread) that they are washed and oiled and garnished with holy oils and and other stuff leaving a lack of dirt and other tarnishes

| i now its double posting but still how am i supposed to wait until someone else posts just to draw attention to the awesomeness that is the Grey Knight Land Raider and the ultimate battle between good and evil? ![]() My Justicar vs a Lord of Change other wise known as the Chicken of Change. The Emperor was with me this day. My Justicar dodged every attack the daemon threw at him and blocked ever psyker attack. He then rallied against the Daemon and with a pray on his lips threw himself at the abomination and with the energy of his sword he loped off the neck of the daemon.

| um ruling it could count as a hunter killer missile if i wanted it to, missile launcher. the reason why i put it there though is when i had finished my land raider there wasnt enough action on the top. the guy with this flamer was the only action up there. so im thinking what could i mount on this turret to make it unique and cool. i had already bought 3 dreads for my list when i realised i had to have a landraider. so i bought the land raider and have an extra dread. fluff behind it is that the land raider Redemption is the oldest land raider the grey knights have. however in one of the many battles against chaos the vehicle was damaged in such a way that its machine spirit was driven mad beyond the repair of the wisest and most learned of all adeptus mechanicus or tech marines. During that same battle a mighty brother of was entombed in to a dreadnaught. this brother was originally a pilot of Redemption. The grand master that had lead the brothers into combat believed that the crazed machine spirit could be calmed if reunited with a being it knew and respected. with much skill and precision they were able to unit the two together. the brother-pilot with his machine. The two now fight as one. Redemption delivering the holy warriors onto the enemy as the brother-pilot watches over and controls the machine as he did in his full life. there ya go a tale of two companions. torn from each other and reunited.

| hmm thanks not really one for fluff but i could try to extend them. sad thing is i realised that if the landraider was going to be a transport he counted as a troop choice instead of a heavy. i could have had that extra dread. and that would mean i could never have the redemption as it is now
