Blog Entries: 2 | Company Commanders, I call you here now to put forth the rules of engagement you will use in battle. Post them here and I will update regularly and add these concepts into the fluff for justification. Power-Armoured Kill Teams 2nd Company Codex: Space Marines (Notable Divergence, tie-ins w/ Space Wolves Codex: heraldry). Traits: Die Standing, Trust Your Battle Brothers, 'No Mercy, No Respite', Eye to Eye. (Note: Rules may be subject to change pending new SW 'dex) 3rd Company Codex: Space Marines Traits: Trust Your Battle Brothers, Faithful Unto Death 4th Company Codex: 5th Company Codex: 6th Company Codex: 7th Company Codex: Dark Angels Ravenwing Rules 8th Company Codex: Blood Angels 9th Company Codex: Space Marines Traits: See but Don't be Seen, Honour your Wargear, Aspire to Glory,Have Faith in Suspicion 10th Company Codex: Space Marines Deathwatch extensions for command squad Last edited by Celestial Guardian; 11-27-2007 at 11:00 AM. |

| sorry I put my reasons in a different thread...I was excruciatingly tired so I didnt really think. Put Dark Angels rules for the 1st Company to use the Deathwing rules as that formation has more flexibility than the standard Codex: Space Marine Terminators. Will also be using the Company Veteran rules for 1st Co. Power-Armoured Kill Teams |

Blog Entries: 1 | the 3rd will use c:sm with the traits "trust your battle brothers" and "faithfull unto death" to represent captain bartez's tendancy to lead the company into the teeth of the enemy, ie. heavy losses but the survivers are tough as hell!

Blog Entries: 4 | for the 9th, in the absence of a captain, I'd like to suggest Codex SM, See but Don't be Seen, and Honour your Wargear, with drawbacks Aspire to Glory and Have faith in suspicion. reasoning is thus: 9th is all devs, so not exactly the most renowned company, and given the company's abundance of ballistically oriented troops, close combat would be avoided if at all possible, so we use what advantages we have. We sneak marines into attack distance from enemy emplacements, sneak heavy weapons teams in behind enemy lines to hold passes, or intercept armoured columns before the main assault. As we're more of a behind the scenes type company, we don't have the same abundance of heroes that other companies would boast. Thus dreadnought status would be a rare enough thing, and terminator armour a sight to behold. plus, since we're all devs, having honour your wargear would let us take more dev squads than usual. As for Librarians, we are oriented around guns and ammo, armour and ordnance. We can trust these, rely on these, plan for these. Psykers are uncertain, unpredictable things, and while the rest of the chapter may trust them, we rely on ourselves.
