For Those of us who have an Extra SM Model or 4...

We Decide to have Erus (or some such) be our custode.

We all paint a mini or 2 and send em to erus.
We could have the biggest chapter ever!!!!!!

Cough.Cough.

We'd need a Color Style thing as well.

I say we go with Luna Wolves but that is just me

the normal first foundings excluded we would have:

Iron Warriors
White Scars
Imperial Fists
Night Lords
Iron Hands
World Eaters
Luna Wolves
Salamanders
Raven Guard
Alpha Legion

Any Reason to exclude one or 2 of these anyone can think of so we can narrow the pickings at least?

exclude the Imperial Fists and the Alpha Legion- firstly Yellow is a notoriously difficult colour to get a uniform shade all over without using a white base coat (which then makes it too bright), I know we could use Foundation Paints but im not forking out any money for a paint i'll only use on one model in the near future.

Secondly, the Alpha Legion...well really what colour is their armour supposed to be anyway?

I'll get in on this and I'd vote we do the Iron Warriors- its pretty difficult to mess up bare steel after all.

ok that makes it down to 8 i'd like to have this down to 5 or so when i post the poll, I know we would all like to do Pre-Herasy, but as this will be a donated army, should we drop the Heretics?

why does it have to be a loyalist chapter? if its got to be a loyalist chapter then why dont we submit some paint schemes (using either the 40kTerra painter or the B&C one) and the 5 best/favourite can be put in a poll?

as the entire idea of donating anything is herecy to GW, i think the traitors should be included!

I vote we out the white scars... white's a cast-iron beeotch to do as well as yeller

BTW: Ill try to find a few o the thunderarmor minis i have hiding somewhere... these would be cool as the emperors custodians
