| Trooper ![]() | I'm far from a Necron expert (and don't have the codex!), but I believe monoliths can deep strike. And 'necron' units can teleport onto the field via the monolith. If anyone can verify this for me that'd be great. I'll withhold voting till then as this would make a very big difference in the battle outcome. |

| Corporal ![]() ![]() | Yes, they can. They cannot land on terrain however, so having them atop the towers would be nigh impossible. Also, I believe if you hit them with vehicle shaken, they actually crash and can be destroyed. At least that's what I've heard, so I don't know for certain.

| 1) Yes they can deepstrike. 2) No they can't telaport. 3) They react to fire the same as any other skimmer that moves 6" or less. 4) They cannot "land" on the towers, however they can go ovewr them since they are skimmers. Parker

Blog Entries: 2 | I already gave my tactics. I was just going to have my Necrons wait until Val's and Dusk's fights were over, and then slay the pieces. Given that we have two 'sit-back-and-wait' players here, I figured I would have to go a bit more aggressive, so I sent my liths, destroyers, and most of my warriors against Dusk, and the remainder of my forces to make sure Val doesn't take advantage of my flank. Essentially, I'm hitting Dusk hard. As hard as I can, in fact.

| you know these dam 3 way battles are really hard to organize as far as tactics are concerned. I mean we all have solid strats, and if we were playing this on a board it would be so much more fluid and real time, but on this forum its all speculation! I hereby dub 1 v 1 v 1 very difficult fights to gauge as far as a victor is concerned!

Blog Entries: 2 | I meant to the battle system itself, such as actually posting turns nd such... but then I realized a few problems: Who would roll the dice? I'm sure we could get a Custodian or someone to do it, but given the possible number of battles/number of possible custodians... Time: the battle would take an extremely long time, given that each participant would have to wait until they could get on before they could take their turn, and given certain members who rarely can get on, this would be an issue Logistical Nightmare: We would have to wait for people to log in and post their turn, and then the custodian would have to roll dice to see who hit what, and then who wounded what, and then armor save, and then determine other saves, and morale, and fall back, and artillery... It would be horrid to work out. Not to mention the instances of 'oh you can't do that' and the proceeding rerolls, removes, re action, etc etc.

| Lodge Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | All you have to do is copy the map and use icons or numbers to indicate your Units. Check out how Bremmer did his tactics against i think Icarus A. It helps alot, Kinda like they do in WD Battle reports.

| Trooper ![]() | Looks like it's going to be Dusk who's fighting the war on two fronts. While Dusk and Valiiant will be a good fight and tough to call, Lord's Necrons will arrive just in time to batter his remaining forces and put Valliant ahead on victory points. Valliant has the most flexible force overall and, once the necrons arrive, can be more selective of his targets. Victory for Valliant |

| Corporal ![]() | wow chaos has a good shot at this if he actually does what he says he is going to. but with all the jump packs Brother Valliant is VERY moble and has the weapons to pull it off "To avoid mass casualties ill switch my strategy to a move forward/harass/fall back strategy to do what i can and widdle any enemies close to my forces.
