If any of your other guns are to get in range then that means that my guns will be in range as well, of course I will close the gap, but overall, My guns outweigh yours by far.

| Re: Gent Vs Romulas at range if you dont advance your assault troopers i can stay at max range and take the day one way or another your jump troopers will have to seperate from your regular troopers in order to deal any damage to my side other wise you wont be in range to get anyshots off at all (know what i mean)

Blog Entries: 1  | Re: Gent Vs Romulas Going with Gent Counter attack, plasmas, meltas...I think its enough to counter the Terminators pretty effectively and, as others have mentioned, if the Terminators are the only thing that gets into combat then thats a huge chunk of vp's (Vote on every battle  )

Blog Entries: 1 | Re: Gent Vs Romulas sweet jeebus what a mammoth table!!! i'm voting for the soul drinkers on this one. why? well, even with lysander's reroll sooner or later those termies are gonna arrive like it or not. coupled with the length of the board that force a choice on rom, bring them in close to his own troops so they don't get cut off and slaughtered of slap them down close to the enemy and hope they can hold out till reinforcements arrive. the first option negated a lot of the termies effectiveness and the second will result in them getting mauled. not even tactical dreadnaught armour can stand up to that many rapid firing bolters and special weapons, and the survivors will be heavily out manned in the ensuing assult phase. if there weren't such a great distance between the 2 forces, or if rom had some transports things might be different but... |
