Blog Entries: 5  | i'm pretty sure i can see what your tactics will be DK, but the problem i see is that you are seriously lacking in armor. the Raptors will do well to bust his armor up and the bikes will be great for taking objectives... but: 1: you have little to no way to take out the massed troops Hairy is bringing to bear 2: Hairy's tanks will ***LIKELY*** blow massive holes if he concentrates fire 3: well, you just did not bring enough. The plague marines are GREAT for this, but you only brought 1 squad. and didn't give em a transport to wipe out the guard with them. I like both lists, but HAIRY will take this one i think.

Blog Entries: 1 | well, the defiler and vindie are a bit of a worrie and the DP is really gonna be a thorn in me side. plasma weapons can glance the front armour of a chimera on 5s and there's enough melta to worry the russes should it get close enough. and for the record i only have 86 troopers, hardly a hoard  wait...i'm arguing the wrong side ain't i?

| i have to go with hairy. the russ are gonna hurt my beloved chaos. giant holes will be made with little being done about it. the only way that this could be avoided is if dk can engage in cc but with out transports i think he'll just get shot to death.

| Sorry DK but I gotta go with the Guard on this one. The amount of armour that Hairy is bringing to the field plus the lack of significant cover to shelter from the expected barrage will put a dent in the Chaos force. It could go the way of Chaos with the Raptors and Bikes speeding over into the midst of the IG armoured blitzkrieg (where I imagine the Russ' would be hesitant to fire) and taking out a couple of chimeras and tanks, but the general manoeuvrability of the Imperial Guard (not something I ever expected to say ) will be the decider in my mind. |

I could also hold back my bikes until his troops deployed, and hit em fast and hard. Of course, I would have to knock out at least one Russ early or I'm toast.

DragoonKing vote to harry sorry I just do not see dragon king digging in and taking out enough of the gaurd force to give themselves a decided advantage in this battal. this is odd for me to say even as a gaurd player because I usually have a hard time with caos in my own battals. but harry has a good list and a solid stratagy. devide and conqure with room to make modifications as the game permits gaurd |

DragoonKing If you had a havoc squad then his armour could of been stumped (Plasma Guns + ML FTW, Played a Game at the weekend, Chaos Vs Chaos, my sorceror w/ plasma pistol took out both Dreadnoughts by himself with that pistol.. <3). leaving you time to take out the troops. Maybe a predator too, but perhaps that's pushing the points. And tbh, the bikes are pointless here, they'd get blown up by the IG's ranged units easily. Good luck guys!
