Blog Entries: 3     |  Black Saints, MK II Well, given my experience with infiltration, I have found that is a LOT of fire to wade through. So I thought I would give the Men in Black (Power Armour that is!) a re-work. 'Cleanse and Purify' caught my eye, and here is what went down. I think it's pretty powerful. And yes, it uses plasma. | Ahh! Don't mix weapons in a devastator squad! At least, that's what I've always been told. I assume the Lord Crusade will be flying with one of the Assault Squads? You could get rid of the Smoke on the Dread if you wanted because if he uses it, he can't shoot. Which is a about all he does. The scout squad sergeant is allowed to have a sniper rifle, if you wanted. Otherwise I'd say give him a Bolter so that if something gets in range he can help take it down with the rest of the ranged death in that squad. 8 sniper rifles is pretty scary. Tac redundancy is good, and 10-marine squads are the way to go. Well done. Assault marines look good, too. Cool list! I'd love to see this many tooled-up marines on one table.

C&C welcome Note: I use this in a 'phalanx' tactica. I deploy the melta guys behind any armor, and advance them into obliterate it! The rest of the guys take and deploy in rows, with the three termie squads in a triangular formation with two plasma squads flanking the HQ and on the inside of termies, one behind. they advance phalanx style (they are a Roman themed army!), using the Apothecary sergeants and terminators to ensure minimal casualties, and the drop pods to provide stationary cover fire as well as precision landing (sorta). the assault squads will likely DS in behind enemy lines and slam into the ass end of the enemy. forcing two fronts was a famous roman tactic, and is a viable 40k one.

| Think about adding a combat shield to that Srgt in the Assault squad. It will add to fluff a bit and since he has a power fist he is always pickens in CC
