|  Cursed Founding Chapters? I was looking at the GW site, and trying to find inspiration to my new SM army. Does anyone know where I can find the rules, background and chapter approved for the following chapters: THE SONS OF ANTAEUS THE MINOTAURS THE FLAME FALCONS THE LAMENTERS THE LEGION OF THE DAMNED THE BLACK DRAGONS They have quite a nice lay out of all the Cursed founding chapters, but I cannot find a a link to the rules or pdf for those chapters. Thanks. |

| Bah, I just called GW. Basically in a nutshell " It was in an old white dwarf, we dont have it on pdf, and the rules would not be viable if they are not in a chapter approved." So with that in mind does anyone have a chapter approved book which containes any information regarding the aforementioned chapters? thnx. |

| I have that book at home, ill take a look at it when I get a chance to search for it. In the meantime, I found this http://uk.games-workshop.com/apocalypse/datasheets/1/ gives the rules for LoD for Apoc. |

 | not exactly, it gives rules for a LotD detachment, it assumes that you use the normal Codex:Space Marines rules, stats and army list then get the additional benifit of the special LotD special rues. However the Chapter Aproved article, IIRC, has stats and special rules for all the cursed founding chapters, as well as an example painted model with any relivent conversion work. BTW, it should be noted that not all Black Dragons have blades sticking out of their arms, its a geneseed deficiency much in the same way as the Wolven being space pups not able to master their bodily changes.

| well i have that old white dwarf...and the rules are indeed out of date, as they use the rules for the 3rd ed SM codex, and i haven't found any other rules for them that place them in with the newest SM codex... the only thing i can think of is use a normal SM list with some traits and drawbacks.. we fight alone (the one with no allies) and the one that limits your tank choices spring to mind as good ones to show the lack of equipment that most cursed/dark founding have access to... i could talk a bit more about it, as i was going to do a Sons of Anataues chapter...

| As I remember it, the basic traits each Cursed Chaper had were these: THE SONS OF ANTAEUS: +1 T THE MINOTAURS: a 3rd Ed. Blood Angels Black Rage type-thing THE FLAME FALCONS: a 5+ cover save (due to smoke...) but could only move 3"... I forget what the second part was... THE LAMENTERS: must make a Leadership Check to assault them THE LEGION OF THE DAMNED: 6+ invul for all units (except vehicles and Terminators), and more, but I forget what... THE BLACK DRAGONS: I think Furious Charge? Or was it Rending? So most of those can be replicated with either the SM or CSM codex.
