Default GT Final Winning Marines? 1500pts

After losing the final game and missing the silver at the UKGT heat 2 with my marines i've made a few adjustments into what could possibly be a likely T final winner.

Any thoughts on this list?

I think this might be the one.

Libby needs a few bits altering (undercosted) but I dont have my codex handy atm.

i'd stick to just the basic ass-can on both dreads and use the pts to bump both marine squad upto 6 man las/plas squads. much better for scoring purposes, plus it's 2 more ap2 guns on the board which can also rapid fire if they get in close!

cheers!

I like the set up, save for the bionics. Really it won't perform that much to justify the pts. And it isn't much, but every ounce of fat you can trim will help! Personally, the 15 pts. for an extra attack at 1.5K (speaking on termie honors) is a bit frivolous too. But, it is useful. As a personal preference, i'd cut it. I've also never been a fan of force weapon + something else, unless it's a thunder hammer. If you're gonna go, go big. Drop termie honors and bionics and you got the big smashy hammer!

I've not seen the point in this kind of set up. Statistically the points you expend here won't earn themselves back really. If you just like this set up, one is ok (still a little iffy to me)... But, I wouldn't do two. The ass-can, with rending and tank hunters, will perform nearly as well, and have the added versatility of rending and a better rate of fire to combat infantry if you need it.

Not bad. I'm more of a fan of plasma guns than las, but the work. I'd try to follow stitch w/ the las + plas combo. It's never a bad idea.

Not one to know variants by name, so i'll stay silent here. Not really a land speeder fan, to be honest. I'd rather have the bodies or a nice assault squad. But then again.. To each his own. If I am thinking of the correct variant set up, then these guys seem ok.

Never been a fan of multi-tasking the tank. I would have gone for one tri-las, one full heavy bolters and auto cannon. Though, I can see the use for it in a tourney list, as you are not hurt badly if you loose one.

These are just my opinions. I can go into further detail if you have questions on what I post.

the hammer is a good idea to replace the bionics actually... very handy to reduce big nasty gribbly things down to I1.
also, why not add a familiar to the librarian for that extra point of initiative?!! I6 is plain evil...

cheers!
