|  Librarian familiars It says Librarian familiars count as being armed with a single close combat weapon, yet have a BS of 3. Anyone know what/if they can shoot?

| Re: Librarian familiars Libraian tiguruius can, but he has his librarian powers so i choose to take fury of ancients and use that instead of shooting, its much beer, and yes they can shoot

IIRC someone told me they ripped the stats off the =][= Daemonhunters henchmen, one of which is the familiar, but in that codex they all use the same generic statline as other henchmen. The generic statline part accounts for why it's not just BS null. I've noticed a few times where something that can't CC or shoot will have the stat as a number anyways. For example: Shadowsword, Master of Assassins (fantasy) has WS10 and BS10, but has no ranged weapons at all.
