|  Quick questions I've been out of the 40k loop for awhile and I have a few new questions about rules,fluff ect. on the space marine side. 1) can SMs (or CSMs) use baneblades?If they did would they be in the chapter colors? 2)to the 2 new land raiders count as VDRed land raiders or cannon ones? 3)Do you think space marines need a recon in reguards to their numbers?I TT and DoW they seem to lose too much of their number in skirmishes to only be 1000 in number. thats all for now,thanks!

| Lieutenant  | 1) they can use them if they have IG auxiliaries, that means one hq and 2 troop choices, unless i`m horribly wrong at 5 am  2) Never saw any details, sorry 3) Fluff and gameplay don`t relate that much If they did orks and guardsman wouldn`t have so similar stats

 | hm, i seem to recall something from somewhere about SM baneblade use. worst comes to worst, just use it as an ally in a friendly game :] if you use the apoc rules featured on the site, i would guess it being official, ie not VDRed, especially since the terminus has an actual model :] and wakim, WHAT are you doing up at 5 am ? haha sleep is good for you, despite what erus tells you :P -ant

Blog Entries: 3    | Pre-Heresy the SM used the Baneblade (known as the fell blade). Post-Heresy it was taken and debased into the baneblade. You can use one.. but it can NOT be in Chapter Colors, and fluff woudl dictate a sizable detachment of IG with it.

And, if you take a baneblade, IMHO you need more than just 2 troops and a command platoon. Baneblades are rare relics, almost liek titans, and should be suitably well guarded.
