| Custodes Libre They like Librarians and knowledge, kinda like Blood Ravens, except that they don't care about their past so much as learning about their foes and finding ways to defeat them. Which can get them into trouble by picking up alien weapons/tech, and delving into forbidden Chaos lore.

| the bearers of dark knowledge; similar to the relictors in that they actively seek out any and all chaotic artifacts and seek to turn them against chaos itself. the bearer's officers normally take to the field carrying bound grimories and other tainted artifact - even wielding captured daemon weapons! the bearers seem to have a very high number of psykers, even to the point that it's rumored all of the chapter's officers foster psychic abilities. the source of their gene-seed is a mystery, though there have been noteable similarities in behavior and the secretiveness of the dark angels. however, the high proportion of psykers also hints at a posible taint or link to some other unkown source... the bearer's founding is unknown, though many believe them to be a potential 13th or 'dark founding' chapter. cheers!

| I'm considering making a chapter from within the Legion of the Damned. The Guardians which wear white armor with a thick purple stripe along the outer legs, centered on the purple stripe is a thinner gold stripe. Their shoulder insignia is that of a watching eye. Gene-seed of the Dark Angels. Known to have physic abilities throughout the chapter which may also explain their mysterious appearances at desperate battles.

| I would either do a chapter based on the pre-pre heresy Dusk Raiders (Nathaniel Garro's original terran legion) or I would do The Iron Snakes which is the chapter from Brothers of the Snake by Dan Abnett.

| The Storm Hounds They have an over-developed Omophagea implant. This implant, number 8 of 19, lets Space Marines absorb genetic material from stuff they eat, and be able to access memories of whatever it was, giving them innate abilities of the animal. In their first engagement against Orks, the first company was cut off from the rest of the Chapter, and they were forced to survive for months on Ork flesh. This consumption of Ork DNA altered their gene-seed, and they now behave in a similar manner. Battlecry: "Fightin' time, boyz!", or more often a simple "WAAAGH!"

| Hmm... well, my space marines have an interesting history, (which is basically, they have a bad paint scheme, but I've decided to work them upto 1500pts... and then will work out a proper fluff renegade chapter) This renegade chapter I will call the Black Suns... they will be undivided but will have elements of Nurgle (ie, the 2nd in command worships Nurgle, or something like that). I haven't worked out all the background... but that's what I'm thinking of.

| Sergeant ![]() | I "have" two: Knights Pacificus A fleet-based chapter of 7 companys. They once produced marine pilots (Land Speeders, Tempests, Thunderhawks) second only in skill to those of the Dark Angels Ravenwing Company. Now wiped out except for a lone Veteran called Hunrik who remains on permanent attachment to the Deathwatch. Nova Lords Also a fleet-based chapter, originally followed a crusading fighting and recruiting style similar to the Black Templars. Over the years they became disenchanted though and swayed from the light of the Emperor. Their recruitments became focused primarily from seven planets scattered across the Imperium. They had been secret chaos worshippers for some twenty years before the events of the Pennatus Crusade. The Pennatus Crusade was launched by the Imperium to repulse the growing mini-empire of the Daemon Prince Pennatus. One of the threatened planets was Lorna, one of the key recruiting worlds of the Nova Lords. As such, the entire chapter, numbering some 1,400 marines, amassed alongside nine guard regiments to defend the jungle-covered planet. At the key moment in the opening stages of both the major space enguagment and the ground assaults by the forces of chaos, the Nova Lords showed their true colours and fell upon the guardsmen and imperial warships with abandon, now fighting alongside the chaos forces. The Nova Lords have since been branded Excommunicate, but not before Lornas defenders were wiped out to a man and the planet left in ruins, unwanted by either side. There are several Inquisitorial reports on the turning of the Nova Lords and the unusual events which took place on Lorna, which is now believed by some to be an Eldar maiden world. The Nova Lords have since renamed themselves the Nova Legion and are suspected of retreating to a system in the Maelstrom controlled by their new allies, a traitor chapter known as The Ghosts Of Damnation. The Nova Legion are my new chaos space marine army - all this fluff was developed IC on The Conclave as part of the Pennatus Crusade, a monumental RP with about thirty people taking part in events on eight different planets.
