|  "scoop" some out with an old brush onto a tile. I bought a tile for $1.08 at Homedepot and it is great for mixing inks and paints. I also use a cheap and old brush from an art store that was less tahna dollar to "scoop" and stir inks and mixed paints

Blog Entries: 1  | thanks guys. hey gregor would you mind doing a tut on the crackle medium??? i tried it last week but i found the cracks really small and that the top coat that i put on needed more layers but that filled in the cracks nullifying the effect. thanks!

Blog Entries: 1 | no i did it on a bike (i'm gonna keep that one as is) and on my ts sorcerer i'm working on. all the cracks came out looking good if you were about 6 inches from the model  so i just painted over it to what is looks like in my wip now. i'll try doing it thicker on the cm and top coat on the next one. it sounds cool and really want to see if i can get it right. i'm thinking i might do it on one of my obliterators next in the flesh areas. that or on an old rhino i'm doing up for my 1000 sons army. i'll try to do a painting wip on it if i can. we'll see. thanks

Blog Entries: 1 | Sorry Hairy I have had a busy time, but I stand by Gems, eye pieces, and sealing. We need someone to step up and do a flesh tut. I know this is the trickiest area, but I think it's a gap that needs plugging. I paint Eldar flesh and rarely as most of my models wear helmets. I think my flesh is OK, but it's a bit unorthodox as I tend to mix my own stuff, and i have no science to it!
