Blog Entries: 5 |  Shades and Matches for Colors Color Shades 1.0 Color Match 1.0 These two programs have TONS of companys paint colors, and selecting one color in one brand can give you matching results from other. I.E. 'Liche Purple' from GW to a paint in Apple Barrel is now possible in an actual scientific way. This program basically does the same thing walmarts paint depot does when you bring them in a swatch and ask them to match it!

Blog Entries: 5 | Re: Shades and Matches for Colors Just a note... 'Color Match' will give you a basic comparison of each color and usually 3+ similar ones in another brand. Color Shade is a bit more user intensive. Probably only picky bastards like DC will use i!! :P

The Color Matching tool is something that I have been working on for quite some time, and I had relatively recently made it available online for other users. If you are curious as to how it works - be sure to read the FAQ linked to at the bottom of each page. I explain a bit of the science involved as well as potential problems which you may notice while using it (paint variations and other issues). Other than that - if you have any problems or suggestions...feel free to contact me directly either here via PM or through my email address joe.kutz@silicon-dragons.com It continues to be a work in progress, so if there are any features that you would like to see added...let me know and I will do my best to make them available. Also, while I have slowed down in adding more paint lines to the system - I doubt I will ever stop fully...so if you are looking for a specific paint line that is not included, let me know (also include a viable vendor for that paint...saves me the time in looking for a retailer). Thanks again for linking to it, and I hope it works well for users here. BTW - Erus, if you are still looking to do any work with the information...let me know.
