Blog Entries: 3 | ![]() UPDATED: 11/18/07 The purpose: To throw up some contests and luck of a draw we are going to present to you the first ever 40kTerra Raffle Contest. In future events we plan to run this Bi-Monthly. To help contribute to 40kTerra.com and also to gain something out of it. Please note: All proceeds will go to the site one way or another. We plan to get new additions to the site such as program features, and pay off server fees and etc. If there is no place to spend the money, then it will go back into NEW prizes or stack up with the next upcoming Raffle to boast up a LARGER prize. Starts: November 18, 2007 Ends: December 15th, 2007 Entry Raffle Tickets: 5$ per ticket (No limit) Each ticket entitles you a chance to have your name drawn. There are other ways to obtain a ticket, see below. UPDATED: 11/18/07 Prizes :(2) Different** Winners will be randomly selected by hand. Each winner will win 35$ worth of any Games-workshop product. or 40kTerra official T-Shirt which is due next month*. Due to the nature of this event being the first ever, this is a MINIMUM set to the prizes. If the results breaks the actual price for the item, the prizes will increase in size. *If t-shirt is not finalized then you will recieve GW prizes instead. **A person cannot WIN twice, BUT the more raffle you get, the more chance you have to win a prize. In addition, the more the raffle pot is, the more larger the prize will be. The Process: For each ticket, your name will be written on paper and then tossed into a mixing box. This isn't going to be randomly drawn by me selecting a name, it is done physically. WE WILL SHIP ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD - so International = OK. How to get a ticket (4 Different ways): 1. Paypal to jenswu@yahoo.com. Please put your 40kTerra username in the notes area and label it as SERVICE/OTHER. If you wish to paypal, please PRIVATE MESSAGE ME, for confirmation. 2. Mail Money Order: Please write your username and address too. If you wish to mail, please PRIVATE MESSAGE ME, for my address. 3. Other contests will provide tickets. 4. Refer 2 new members to the site who show decent activity - need to have at least 10+ non-spamming posts. MAKE SURE THEY PUT YOUR NAME AS THE REFERRER! We will check IPs and double accounting. If you are caught, you will not be allowed to ever participate in any 40kTerran events. So dont! If you have any comments, questions, or suggestions, then let me know! Good luck! Discretion: This is not a gamble, or such. We do not guarantee you a win. If you wish to purchase a lot of tickets, do so more in intentions of assisting rather than winning. We just don't want people to be angry in this event. Its the luck of the draw. Last edited by Cagarner; 11-25-2007 at 01:08 PM. |

| I read The Bonehunters by Steven Erikson in less than a Month... IIRC (if you know what this book is... you will understand). A better example would be The Demon Soul by Richard A. Knaak in 2 days... that book is about the same size... Mind you, by now, I could probably read most 70k books in 1-2 days... Its the 1000 page monsters that take me a little while. ![]()
