| Re: Conflict Scotland Hi guys In england at the moment, but its april 13th (I'm going for the 40k doubles tourney) and its in glasgow. Tickets are £40 for a team of 2. BTW steve, had some of the Apple Barrle paints sent over from the states and they are fantastic! thanks for the heads up  Cheers and I'll be back soon

 | Re: Conflict Scotland £5 Open Pass as well chaps. It's at the Braehead Curling Rink - which is attached to the Braehead Shopping Centre (Shopping Destination Of The Year 2007/2008), on the south side of Glasgow near the airport. (BSC has free parking in huge supplies and because the rink is connected, parents can go for a shopping trip and leave the hobbyists alone) And by the looks of things I may well be Co-running the Inquisitor participation game!! (yay! free entry! =D ) It's not 100% confirmed yet, but it is highly likely.

| Re: Conflict Scotland I don't know now if I'll be going, at £5 for an Open pass, I may well still go. Unfortunately due to Disclosure Scotland certificate (you need one of these to be allowed to work with the young or vulnerable) bureaucracy - myself and my associate are not allowed to run an Inquisitor participation game. Despite the fact that we both have DS certificates for other things - I can legally be in charge of a group of children in the middle of no-where (as a Scout leader), and he can stick drills in their mouths (he's a dentist). But to be in charge of a table at a GW event you need to be a member of the Gaming Club Network - which in scotland requires having a dedicated DS certificate cos you're very likely to be in charge of children (or rather, under 18s). bloody civil servants.

I am frantically painting my army to a good standard (will post pics on Saturday, dont want to give to much away  )I've been testing a Ravenwing/Deathwing list and at the moment it is 6 wins 0 losses, but I've only gone against IG/Sm and Chaos. It will be interesting to go against something else Cheers!

| Re: Conflict Scotland How on earth can you have deathwing in a Combat Patrol force? Also, I shall not be attending at all, as the only way for me to get there would require 45 mins on the train into glasgow (which i do most days anyway) and then a 1+1/2 bus ride to Braehead. It wouldn't have been an issue if they'd just used the glasgow Hilton by the SECC again this year =/
