Thats a no no, leman russ demolisher has a DEMOLISHER cannon! when won't you fire the cannon? Give it a heavy bolter and heavy flamer sponsons its cheaper you could buy another cheap special weapons squad

With the demolisher and the Lascannon I am worried that Against Tau I will be hopelessly outranged, plus I like to have a backup in case I lose the Main Gun.

For the Sharpshooters, I have read elsewhere that when you look at the point cost per squad it only statistically make sense to give them to Heavy Weapon Teams

ah your right I thought sharpshooters was one of the skills that had to be applied to eveyone.

But do drop the plasma cannon sponsons on the demolisher! they are useless if you move you can only fire one of your three weapons either 1 plasma cannon or the lascannon or the demolisher cannon! The lascannon is ok to keep for the range but then just get heavy bolter sponsons or NO sponsons

Good Deal, about the sponsoons. losing them make more sense when they have the only marginally better range then the Demolisher Cannon.

Looks Like I have 25 points to spend now.

divide the rattlings into 2 squads and beef up both squads by one rattling!

that'll mean you can fire on 2 targets and pin down more enemies!

that 22 points right there...now what to do with 3 points?

ratlings are a 0-1 Elite Choice...but I like the way you think.

Double checked my math and I did add it in the total army cost; I just didn't post it correctly.

So. the points are Back! and I am thinking I should add a Heavy bolter to two squads.

From the Codex: The Hardened Veteran Sergeant has access to the imperial armoury and may select "officer only" items.

Demolisher = Demolisher Cannon !!! OMG I have to stay away from this tank by 24 inches. I personally run all my Demlishers with a HB, and PC sponson's. I can honestly say that they pay for themselves when people forget that the range on PC's is 36 inches.

IMO keep PC's and find points somewhere else.

the only way you can shoot the both plasmas is if you stay stationary! besides the range of the demolisher is 24" plus 6" movment of the tank so its effective range is 30" so the plasmas arent that much more range
