Close Order Drill 5. 3 Commissars Power Weapon = 135 Heroic Senior Officer Medic Autocannon Sharpshooters Iron Discipline Bolt Pistol 112 Infantry Platoon #1 Command Squad Autocannon Sharpshooters Iron Discipline Squad One Sharpshooters Grenade Launcher Autocannon Squad Two Sharpshooters Grenade Launcher Autocannon 256 Infantry Platoon #2 Command Squad Missile Launcher Sharpshooters Iron Discipline Squad One Sharpshooters Meltagun Missile Launcher Squad Two Sharpshooters Meltagun Missile Launcher 260 2 Leman Russ Lascannon Heavy Bolter Sponsons = 330 SubTotal 1096 Daemonhunter Allies Inquisitor Lord Psycannon Familiar Sage Acolyte Power Armor Acolyte Power Armor 127 Callidus Assassin 120 Grey Knights 4 and Justicar Incinerator 160 Total 1500 I plan on deploying one infantry platoon and my =I= to hold the enemy off while I drop the rest behind them. The tanks are supposed to sit behind the infantry and shoot. Any advice, criticism, suggestions are appreciated. Thanks guys

| Soldaten ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Drop: Sharp Shooters and Commissars Also the Heroic Senior as your HQ The points from the Comm. and SS can be used to 10 if not more men! As for the HSO make him a JO then give him that upgrade that makes him have the stats of a HSO you save 5 points! You need to make up bodies since you are having DH allies. I dont see the point of a =I= Either make him 10 more guardsmen or more GKs. Also if you must have an assassin then take the Eversor he is FAR by the best one. Also Drop the Lascannon on your Russes make them the Heavy Bolter its all the same and never mixed with those Heavy Bolter Sponsons, its never worth taking the two different weapons even if you want versatility, its just not worth it. With points that you are saving from dropping the Commissars Make those Autocannons into Lascannons and the gernade launcher into plasma gun, same goes for the other platoon. Also the command squads should never have heavy weapons in them. Your only drawing attention twoards your Officers. Its only a 5 man squad and if your drawing attention then suddenly he has a real reason to aim for that squad. Instead maybe take 2 flamers, that way when or if they are close enough to the command squad then you can defend yourself. Again droping those things and the heavy weapons in the command squad you can spring for More Men and when you have Guard and Allies espeically DHs then thats what you need to be competative Hope this helps

Blog Entries: 4 | I know a lot of guard players question the habit of taking heavy weapons in infantry squads because it makes you choose whether to move and fire your Lasguns or stay and fire the Heavy weapon (thereby wasting the Lasgun shots) so they argue dont take heavy weapons and use the extra points for more men (and maybe take an assault weapon-melta/plasma , for those tricky situations)-its the old dont combine roles in a squad/on a vehicle thing Just food for thought...!

| Soldaten ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yea thats exactly what I thought :P Anyways its only a 1500 point game and this list is all over the place. What I mean is either drop all =I= aspects and just have more GKs or Guard, or drop the GKs and keep the =I=.
