I know it is out of date, but all i play is friendly games soooooo.....

State your thoughts on how you would set up your list.

i havent thought about them in a while but ive got a few notes in my book
when i played a IG AC back in the day i had several conquerors so i could stay mobile and put fire down range
i liked to squad up like vehicles with equal ranges
ill see if i cant dig up some of my old AC lists

well im looking at the codex right now so assuming you are like me and would want a well rounded army not nessasairly a specialty list twards one thing or annother.
elites I would go with 2 squads of storm troopers in chimeras and a tank ace (exterminator)

troops I might go with annother exterminator and two conquers and a battle tank

HQ would be vanquisher

a salamander scout

two armoured fist squads

heavys I would go with two distroyer tank hunters and a demolisher

use the following doctorins

evasive driving
rare troops
overcharged engins
ace sponson gunners
and ace gunners

just a thought

fast attack 2 squads of sentinals 3 a piece. all with cadian pattern

I'm working on a list right now for the BF40K. I plan to lay down a tank battle challenge, so I'm gearing my list for all anti-armor. I stick with Vanquishers for the Tank aces, all standard Leman Russes for the Troops, and go with a few Laser Destroyers for heavy support.

One word Imperial Armoured Vol. 1 Battlegroup

the slick loader upgrade cannot be beat!!!!!

Not to mention all those other upgrades that makes any Armoured Company unstoppable.

you should take a destroyer tank hunter as a tank ace because it's main gun relies on BS and can knock out any tank

i cant seem to find my old ig notebook
that blows because i had tactics and lists ive been writing in there since i started an ig army
i guess ill have to check the storage shed

on a side note
you got the remnants of my AC munkey
they were the "last ones on the island"

very good point and with a s9 weapon chances are good at taking out a multi wound creature and there support squad or just about any tank with one shot. worth the point increase me thinks
