| the chimera is for my armoured fist squad - though i had a friend help me build it as a 40k style blackhawk to keep in line with the drop troops theme! the vets will truck (okay, fly!) around in a valkyrie in larger pts games - 2000pts+ or so usually... the valkyrie is set-up for an anti-troops role with multi-laser, 2 door heavy bolters & multiple rocket pods. and truthfully, my heavy flamer sentinel draws more enemy fire than the chimera probably because 'chef' never fails to bbq at least one big squad?!!to Plisken: yep! full on, pure drop troops every single model can realistically come in via dropship and/or shuttle... like i said, i'm barking mad!cheers!

| A 40k blackhawk? This is something I must see! Please post a pic up ASAP! And you have a valkyrie! Nice! How do flyers work exactly in 40k? I've never had to play against (or with) any before.

that and i'm still painting the thing! (4 months and counting...)flyers are somewhat complex - the rules for them are in imperial armour vol.1 but suffice to say they add a very interesting element to the game though they do have a tendancy to either be brilliant, or else fail horribly! cheers!

| Thats how most of my painting goes. I'll probably still be painting my Eldar Army in February, though it may be quicker as we've got the good ol' Christmas holidays. I don't have any of the Imperial Armours, but I may get an Eldar Titan (eventually, when I'm done with my time of slave labour paying off my debts). You have to ask your opponents permission, right?
