|  IG jeeps,or any wheeled tanks? Anyone have an idea on how to make a IG jeep or wheeled tank?I would think some guard forces would use wheeled vehichles. |

 | yeah i remember them showing you how to make an armoured car out imperial vehicles.see what i can find i seem to remember a front of a chimera and back of a leman russ and chimera turret. post it if i find it  |

 | I'm trying to make/convert a 40k WWII Sdfkz. 251 Hanomag halftrack to proxy as a chimera for my Death Korps but cant find a real good kit to base it on.

 | There is tons of wheeled varients on the web. One of the easiest and quickest is using kits likeTaiyama and others. I saw a real coolone using a Japanese red cross jeep with some mods to it. real cool and super easy!!

| Re: IG jeeps,or any wheeled tanks? well i just used plactic from a hoby shop to make a bassy a few months ago i started with a frame and some tubing and made a half tank tred for the back side made exaust pipes out of bic pens drilled......for the frunt i used a pen and the weels from a old show car model a had arround with white walls and crome rims....put a spare tire on the plate cover for the earthshaker cannon and the seat from the car with the steering weel and dash assembly. about 30 hours of work and $8 USD and bam custom bassy pimp style. not that you are going to go through all this but a jeep frame is just a box you can get weels from a hobby shop that has car modles and you should have 40k bits from tanks you already have. if you do it yourself it will be unique and show better |

I just used a 1/35 scale ford mutt jeep and put a multi-laser from a sentinel and a lascannon from a heavy weapons squad mounted on stands in the back of the jeep. I them used alot of assesories and i used ork legs with catachan bodies as drivers and gunners. the other thing you could do is buy some extra wheels and build up the side of a chimera or russ so that the wheels could go under them. (one of these days i have to take pictures of my conversions) | |

| Re: IG jeeps,or any wheeled tanks? I had a small idea for a wheeled Guard AFV. Base if off a Chimera or Rhino chassis and add Ork Warbuggy tires instead of the standard tank treads. You'd probably have to do some work on spacing and add some plasticard to the sides, but I think that it'd look cool.
