Not sure whether to do red or bone on the robes and I'm still pegging down personal heraldry so bear with me...

EDIT:

Paint scheme, chapter heraldry is the 40k terra chapter, personaly heraldy will be red gore with a blacck cross (and hopefully a few annoying gold details), trim should be gold, though I'm tempted to make the sings and skull on the crozius metal... Probably go with red for the robes.

Since I'm assuming the WIP goes with the proof post, here's what I have done so far. Still need to touch up the gold and mess around with a few highlights though.

Personal heraldry will be changing, but I'm open to suggestions right now.

EDIT: Also considering changing robes and cloak to match skull...

I love the crozius especially, though the odd trim on the jump packs intake makes me question his femininity.

Looks solid! Only one thing that seems off to me; the red trim on the right shoulder pad. It doesn't go with the rest of the scheme in my opinion.

i think he was tying it into the detail on the jump pack exhausts, but in this case the exhaust red highlight isn't strong enough to fully support the red shoulderpad.

i don't mind it so much, that's a sweet job ! really clean, sweet modelling...excellent work man :]

The blue and read is personal heraldry it seems, which is totally cool.. But it's just a bit odd on the jetpack, done like it is.

good work... You cold always try highlighting the armor in grey like mart does... That should help a bit. Other than that, you're wll on the way.

I have a mix I intend to try out for it, but I'm trying to sort out any crusade badges, litanies on the armor... I also need to go over all the brazen brass areas with dwarf bronze...

Would I be able to pull off a checkerboard pattern on the personal heraldry?

as for the wings part of the crozius, I'm torn between giving it a blue ink wash or lining the metal with brazen brass...

A mix of ice blue and skull white, thinned down by about 4-5:1 in water (2:1 blue:white, then that mix in a 4:1 or 5:1 paint :water ratio) is what I tend to use, and it usually has a nice effect, you just have to be careful not to over-do it.
