Well, after taking a trip into the twon centre today, ive managed to pcik up some much needed hobby supplies and I'm (Finally) Ready to start my entry into the comp. so, without anyfurther exscuses, here my proof and WIP shots for the last few days (Please Note, nothing has actually benn stuck togther yet, it all been done with blu tac. i ahd no glue what so ever. >< )

and heres some WIP shots of the SGT, however, i might sue the metal MKI Sgt I havent decided yet, and if i use him i need to mooch some bits off my local GW and friends as i need to get him a powerfist.
anyway, the pose i was going for with this guy was, 'I'll get you next time!' Or, 'Come back here!' as if to say hes waveing his fist angryliy in the air, rather than just punching the sky.


some close ups of some of the models i currently have waiting to ahve work done to them, wiether its stripping the paint off or base coating them.

kwl, well these guys are a part of my 500pts combat patrol force, i got the bits at the FW open day last weekend, so i thought I'd throw something togther for the comp.
but lack of glue, superglue and paints has kept me behind and I've only just been able to start, however I;ve been playing around with Blu-tac in the mid-term. I'm just waiting on paints now, I'll be picking some up on wensday at Vets night at my Local GW.

Also, Ive built a marine!, the first of three (as the other three are going to be metal models. im gonna have to sue brass gubbins on the metal guys to get them looking like proper RS >< its a chore to get them on sometimes)

Okay first things first, the squad is almsot completely built, im just missing one guy which i need to buy on the wensday of this week, and do some conversion work too...that and strip the paint off the tyranid hunter in the sqd.

anyway, PICS!

First off, after seeing the results of the poll, (18 views and only 2 votes, whats up with that!?) I decieded to do the custom SGT using the Red scorps FW parts.

Next up is the melta guy in teh Sqd, since most of the models in this Sqd are either metal or FW i decided to make the full plastiuc models as 'cool' as possible, and so he is in a dramtic mid combat pose.....what i eman by that is. i rotated his torso abit. ^^

Nect up...well, i ran out of idea's, so hes a bog standard marine, just a FW RS shoulder pad.


Last 2 now, a vet from the VETS MK2 Boxed set, hes just got a brass bit on his left should (out of shot) to mark him as a RS.
and in the next pic, is the Tyranic war vet i was talking about. hes currently got some barss taced on fro effect, but hes going to be striped converted, and painted up as RS for the qd.



The last man, I'm yet to purcahse, anoutehr tyranic war vet. i just love the two 'ccoler' models in the set, and i enjoy getting a chance to sue them whenever i can, he should be on here thursday night GMT.
