Brother Sargent Viktus, Veteran Assault Sargent, Chosen of Sanguinius

To the imperium of man, Space marines embody what it is to be a hero. Every space marine is looked upon as a hero by every man, every woman, and every child inhabiting every world in the imperium.

So when a space marine is looked upon by his fellow battle brothers as a hero, that man has truly become legendary, a hero amongst heros.

Brother Sargent Viktus is one of those men, and his tale will be sung till the end of days.....................

THE Fluff will be posted with final entry!

Mechrite (not sure about the spelling)
double power fist
very expensive but cool looking anyways

The red is a little combo of my own

1-Base black primer
2-Scab Red
3- 50/50 water +black ink wash
4- Scab red dry brush
5- 50/50 water + brown ink wash
6- scab red dry brush

Thats how im adding a deep like red to his armor, long process but the detail is amazing.

As for the fluff, i think you guys will like it =). But like i said im saving the whole sha-bang for the final entry!

Ok so like i said before, fluff will be delivered on the final entry, i might throw a teaser in but for the most part it should be good.

Here are some progress/teaser pics of my boy being assembled, he still has alot of painting to get done, the banner needs finishing, i have to decide on a color for the "crisanthamums" (spl?) and im deciding on what symbol to put in the large center space of the banner.

Also if youve seen my other marines they have alternating black/red patterns, and im currently trying to decide on one that wont take away from some of the great shading i got on his armor via a washing type of paint strategy.

All and all im pretty happy with the paint job so far except the bright anomalies the flash from my camera made on him!

Enjoy Sargent Viktus! Hes getting done quick!

Sure ill throw up a tut for ya if youd like, ill do what i can at least. Did you want a tut on the red armor color or the bronze/gold effect or both? Ill definetly work one up but it will have to be after i finish this project and while im doing another marine!
