| Trooper ![]() | Just some shots of my scratchbuilt baneblade that I'm currently letting sit as I finish my painting of my army. No templates were used. merely Imperial Armor2 andthe picture of it with the small imperial guard standing beside it for size refrence. Let me know what you think. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| The Great Wolf ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | very nice...well done, but for the seams and some of the cuts it is very impressive...just a bit of advice...I would suggest using squadron putty to fill in the gaps and seams and then sand it so it doesn't look so rough...all in all a great job though... I like the attention to detail...ie the rivets and ablative plates on the track gaurd...and the symbology on the rear of the stack gaurds is a nice touch too...keep up the good work...oh and one more thing...how about a WIP on this little baby...let us know how you went about it... +rep

| Patron Saint of Leicester ![]() ![]() ![]() | Very nice work. The turret is reminiscent of the Tiger Porsche turret from WW2, and the turret bustle has the rise of an M-48. The rivet work is nice. Did you use Plastruct Hex rods, or round rods, or something else? I'll have to give another rep point when you put up a Tut for this one. Again, I'm impressed.

I just recently got a new toy, a hole punch for lacing leather or scrapbooking, that the circles it punches are the size of the actual GW baneblade rivets! small small small rivets..teeny tiny holes...I can't wait to use it. | |

| Patron Saint of Leicester ![]() ![]() ![]() | Very cool. Great minds think alike. We have a thread going for your fave tools: Tool's of Terra I use a leather punch as well (got it at Michael's, one of my fave stores.) Post your favorite tools there as well as here. The slicing method with round rod is great. Plastruct also makes hexagonal rods, for the more Orky of us. When sliced, it looks just like a nut, and then you can slice off a bit of smaller round rod to make the bolt part. So, slicing can get you rivets, or a bolt/nut setup.
