Blog Entries: 5 | Very nice.. Very, very nice... It's a solid piece! And, the highlighting the bronze could work well, but i've never really seen any metla highlights that have looked all that amazing to me. And for the fiddly nature of it, I usually don't bother.

Blog Entries: 1 | pretty much, but blended up to that. Or if you didnt want to go that far, a brighter dwarf bronze/mithril silver mix with more silver in it. I think it would help, but not essential.

Blog Entries: 4 | I'll give it a go when I start basing him. Might go over the litanies with some thinned white too. I also found these disgustingly well done things somewhere... Games Workshop Imagery Now I'm depressed.

Blog Entries: 1 | how the bloody hell i managed to miss this thread for an entire week and only find it a day or so before the final judging is beyond me ![]() nice one ides, i can tell a lot of effort went into this mini. i've just been comparing this to some of your ealier stuff in the ides of oryn thread, and it's startling to see how far your painting and modelling skills have advanced in the space of a year. i'm sure you haven't reached the peak of you art yet though, so i throughly expect to be saying the same thing this time next year too ![]() good luck in the comp ides.
