Blog Entries: 3   | Not bad... It could just be me, but maybe a little more water to your blue would help it finish smoother. Especially on the sword arm. It's too thick of paint, or perhaps a primer issue? I know i've had primer hiccups ruin good paint jobs. But yours is far from ruined! I actually like the blood on the power sword! Although, we want go into my OCD about the blood burning off of the sword, etc.. GOOD MODEL! +rep for a solid effort. Auto.. PLEASE just edit your original post to include new links. If you 'just go your own way' so to speak, then your base instinct and skills are very promising, and with practice and more practice, you'll be doing very well! And don't worry about the multiple posts. Honest mistake, and i'm in midst of fixing it up for ya!

The key things in them that I say are so promising are the clean leans, the crisp colors, and the extreme attention to little details most first time painters miss. Plus, you can tell you are thinking about how the end result will be BEFORE your brush hits the plastic, which is another flaw w/ many beginners. Ace job.

 i'd have said that you'd been painting for years based on the quality of these! you're showing some fairly advanced techniques such as shading and highlighting, some awesome brush control, and as erus already mentioned your attention to detail is spot on. i shudder to think what you'll be like once steve gets through with you! have you had any training as an artist by any chance? art skills usually transfer very well to mini painting.
