im actually liking the idea of a themed contest between freestyle ones... makes the voting easier since everyone will be entering similar models

and im sure my lack of votes was do to the last minute entry and lack of a decent propaganda campign

i doubt that it had anything to do with hating the conversion. i personally liked it. but as this was a comp, they were free to vote how they wanted. perhaps it did not appeal to them asthetically. who knows.

WHATTTTTT??? where did this idea come from?? I got just as many points as you and didn't win either!!! No probs!!! what we do is PLAN, PRACTICE, AND PARTICIPATE!!! Just by entering you have set a standard for yourself. Now on the next contest you enter again and strive to at least beat your last conversion. You might be like me and get no vote again but if you did better than last time your a winner already. and the only way to get better is PRACTICE!!! The winners of the comp did not win because they are lucky, the won because they are good. Good because the failed before and did it again Im sure. So if your like me and want to get better, enter every one we have and someday you'll give em a run for their money!!!

i didn't even read all of what you said, joe, but i knew from just reading a few words that it was really encouraging stuff. thanks for putting it out there :] and marcus, don't worry about it. you did well and worked hard, and that's something to be proud of.
